We are looking for a highly motivated and friendly eyelash technician to join our team. If you have a passion for enhancing natural beauty and creating stunning lash extensions we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
- Apply individual eyelash extensions with precision and care. Using 0.15 classic lashes.
- Provide exceptional customer service ✨
- Conduct thorough consultations and patch tests.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an eyelash technician working with 0.15 classic lashes.
- Must hold your classic lash certificate. Volume lashes certificate preferred but not essential as we can do this with you.
- Lash lift and tint preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 🤝
- Ability to work efficiently and independently 🤓
- Flexibility to work one evening shift per week until 7pm and every other Saturday for half a day.

Salary:
We offer a competitive pay depending on experience and excellence demonstrated. Employed role ✨
Hours: Minimum 18 hours per week working up to full time 5 days per week if you wish.

What is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a beauty treatment that aims to give the appearance of fuller, thicker, and more defined eyebrows.

Brow lamination is a great option for those who have sparse or unruly eyebrows and want to achieve a more groomed and polished look 👌🏼

How does it work?
It involves the use of a chemical solution to reshape and set the eyebrow hairs in a particular direction. During the process, the brow hairs are first cleansed and then brushed upwards using a special gel. This helps to lift and straighten the hairs, creating a fuller and more uniform look. After the hairs are in the desired position, a neutralizing solution is applied to set them in place. We then use a hybrid dye to tint the eyebrow hairs and wax to achieve the desired look. Tinting adds color and depth, while waxing helps shape and define the brows.

Today, Lucy our salon dog and Oliver participated in a competition and won a rosette for outstanding skills in tail waggling 🥈 Lucy also had a go at agility, hurdles and fly ball 🤩
Despite her laid-back demeanor, Lucy is a highly skilled pup when it comes to fly ball and tail wagging.

1. Dirty lashes. Cleaning lash extensions is crucial for maintaining their appearance, overall health, and longevity.
This promotes good hygiene and reduces the risk of bacterial growth that can lead to eye infections or irritations but it can also weaken the adhesive bond and cause premature shedding or loss of lashes ❌

2. Oil-based products: Oil-based makeup removers, cleansers, and skincare products could contribute to premature loss not only this but oil based products near your lashes can weigh them down and cause them to clump together or fall out. It's best to avoid using oil based products and only use a specifically formulated lash extension-friendly make up remover.

3. Pulling and picking ❌
Do not pick off your eyelash extensions, it’s best to have them professionally removed to avoid pulling out your natural lashes. Constantly touching or rubbing your lash extensions can cause them to loosen, twist and fall out prematurely. It's important to be mindful and avoid unnecessary contact with your lashes or sleeping face down.

- Rinse the lashes thoroughly to remove all cleanser residue.
- Pat the lashes dry with a clean, lint-free cloth and let them air dry.
- Brush your lashes as they dry for maximum fluff 😍 You can also use a fan to dry them.
- Avoid using oil-based or waterproof makeup products on or near your lash extensions, as they can be difficult to remove and clump lashes together.
