We were created in April 2013 to promote and support Elmswell Library to ensure its future through fundraising and raising its profile in the community.
Free art workshops for kids.
We have 3 free workshops led by artists coming up in August

The Summer Reading Challenge starts this Saturday.
Volunteers will be at the library to sign children up at the following times for the first week:

Elmswell Library Friends are having their next wine evening at 7.30pm on Friday 8th July. This time as well as wine expert Bob Stopp talking about Greek wine, there will be Francesca Catlow talking about her new book , Behind the Olive Trees. Tickets are £10 and available from Elmswell Library.
You're welcome to bring your books for Francesca to sign. Books will also be available to purchase at a special price on the night.
Our AGM is in a couple of weeks. 5.30pm on Wednesday 27th April. All are welcome and we would be very pleased to welcome anyone wanting to joing the committee or to be nominated as the chair.
There are still some tickets left for the South African Wine and Food evening 7.30pm on Friday 25th February. Tickets are £15 and available from the library.
The ELF wine evenings with wine expert Bob Stopp are back. The region this time is South Africa. The wine evening is at 7.30pm on Friday 25th February. Tickets are £15 per person and available from us at the library.
