The Bury Framing Centre

Occasionally I manage to frame something for myself. 'Two Plants' by Lucien Freud, one of my favourite paintings. In situ amongst plants in my conservatory.

It doesn't get more Suffolky than two tractors and golden crops.
This beautiful print is finished with a white open grain frame and

Bespoke, made to measure, and made by hand. It's an enjoyable process and there are stories behind everything that comes through the door.

Occasionally there is a purposeful mystery in the placing of an object. In this case a surprise Buddha in the doorway. In any case it was a marvellous start to the day 🙏

A date for the diary…really looking forward to exhibiting with the wonderful in Aldeburgh in just under a month….just under a month, yikes…got some paintings to finish! Luckily I work well with a deadline, something that cures the old creative procrastination I find! One or both of us will be in the gallery all week and there’s a special ‘meet the artist’ excuse for a glass of rosé on the Saturday. Would be gorgeous to see you there.
