We have overseeded, verti-drained and fertilised today as the club prepare for step 2 football next season!

We have made it!

Not looking likely a couple of weeks ago but a decent few days of weather means we are ready to go for the first cricket matches of 2024.

Pitches ready and . Not rock hard belters but happy for April and all things considered.

Finally looks like a dry week coming up!

So a window to finally give your pitch some TLC. First step would always be aeration this time of year, especially after the weather we have seen.

A chance to open up the soil to give the roots a space to breathe and help with any wet stuff coming in the following months.

We have various Verti-Drains for all requirements, a Verti-Quake and slitters.

Glad to finally get a break in the weather just long enough to get this project over the line.

This pitch has been levelled, fully drained, irrigation installed, 300 tons of sand spread and mixed into the top 50mm then finally seeded.

Should be a fantastic playing surface, keep an eye out in the spring for the results!

Second half of the new square for installed a couple of weeks ago having its first trim today 👌

Monumental effort from the team once again this week. Over 30 cricket wickets prepared including the minor counties cricket festival and hosting on Sunday. 750m of land drainage installed into a school playing field and the pitch ready to go for another season. 💪🚜🏏⚽️
