Away at the moment so not as many ships to post.
No mass conveyor here but the small transport ships of the imperium are just as important. This one from is my favourite small logistics transport.
I love the prow and I've seen in a recent post there are some other ships using this hull which I might need to pick up.
When I get back, I'm going to finish the Rogue Trader fleet, still got quite a few ships to paint, some very nice ships too.
You'd be forgiven for thinking I was all about gardening from my last post as it looked like I'd used a potato to take my picture.
Here are some better ones of battle scene images.

A Necron Scythe Cruiser tonight.
Love this long ship design from the Necrons. I think it's my favourite Necrons ship, I might have for the class wrong (correct me if I have).
I'm running out of light box photos now (I have 2 left) and I've not painted anymore yet.
Just finishing a Necromunda gang and then I'll be back at the Rogue Trader fleet.
Carnage Class Cruiser tonight.
I've been away this week so not had chance (or internet connection) to post much. Love any Imperial/Chaos ship with a hammerhead prow.
This one of three in the chaos fleet are unique ships and add a bit of variety.
Murder Class Cruiser tonight.
I got alot of cruisers done for my Chaos fleet. This one of three just made it in after I saw the prow from . A little kitbash on a SFS hull and a slight amendment to the prom to our lances on it and hey presto.
Love the prow and super addition to the fleet.
Vengeance Class Grand Cruiser today in the light box.
The Imperial fleet is the first BFG fleet I painted 4ish years ago. When I look back at them I can see how much I've improved painting wise and it's a constant reminder I need to revisit their bases.
In the whole Imperial fleet, the Vengeance is my favourite appearance wise. I love the old chaos like sterns with the more traditional hulls, not to mention the upsidedown prows are the best 😀
A Necron Battleship tonight.
The Necrons seem a bit crazy in BFG.
I've never fielded this fleet but I have played against Necrons a few times and their movement shenanigans are crazy.
They do have some fantastic model designs out there and this is a favourite of mine.
Bit of a different post today.
Great game of to wrap up the end of the campaign.
It was a 6 way battle with present but not sure if the others are on Insta.
The , , , and Knights looked to stop the from sacrificing the maiden to the 4 original Chaos gods and taking her for their own desires.
Great game which ended thematically with the mounted Knight rescuing the Maiden.
The undead have been brilliant to use, the Vampire is a beast.
Second of the older ships
Think I prefer the white one to the black one.
Love the ship though from , like the ships of very old and now quite unique.
Tonight, 2 of a total of 5 Scylla Class Hiveships (cruisers).
Love these ships in conjunction with a Charybdis or just stand alone in mass with loads of escorts. The variety you can get on the flanks and prow is great (from a rules perspective and aesthetics perspective).
Great ships, for me in the Tyranid fleet though, the Kraken steal the show.
The Retaliator Grand Cruiser tonight.
Another fantastic ship that Chaos have available to them.
Bulky and with loads of options, another standout in the Black Legion fleet.
Another light box photo.
Still not sure how to get this (and the other) in my Rogue Trader fleet.
The ship of the line slots are all filled so it'll either need to be a Xenos proxy or chaos proxy.
Love the ship though from , like the ships of very old and now quite unique.
Another Universe Mass Conveyor (last one) in the lightbox series.
This one is the slimiest of them all, with liquids as its transport.
All 3 of the Mass Conveyors I've painted are amazing designs and hard to pick a favourite. This one by is an amazing ship in the fleet though.
Retribution Class Battleship today in the light box.
Amazing ship from and the first ship I ever got from them.
It's bulky and IMO in BFG XR destroys ships much easier than the Emperor Class. The Imperial Fleet doesn't leave home without it now.
Love how the marble prow turned out on this one.
Another Universe Mass Converyor in the lightbox series.
So many good versions of this ship out there, from slim to stocky, fuel cells to cargo crates. The bulk of this particular model is unparalleled.
Great ship and looks great in the light box.
Next up in the lightbox photos is the Despoiler Battleship.
Hands down the best prow out there. The open mouth launch bays are immense, IMO the Chaos ships have so many amazing designs that it's tough for the top spot in a fleet.
A second Charybdis Hive Ship of the tonight.
Different load out to the first, this one was equipped with batteries down the side after my poor start to the recent campaign.
All the hiveships have magnetised prow weapons.
A Necron Grand Cruiser tonight.
Anyone who saw my original post, I wasn't keen on the paint job I did on these. Not that I thought it was bad, just not what I was going for.
The more I look at pictures of these the more they grow on me.
Next up in the lightbox photos is the Planet Killer..
Beautiful ships and if it wasn't for the Ark of Omen in my fleet this would steal the show for sure.
A retro Blood Angels Battlebarge.
Blood Angels were my first and only love in 40k back from 2nd edition. In my opinion they are the only ones worth talking about. The Emperor should have picked Sanguinius.
Love the Battlebarge model, reminds me of a hammer head shark. I went with the retro paint scheme and this fleet is the smallest of all my fleets.
Emperor Class Battleship from the very first fleet I painted.
This is before I started painting my bases so I need to go back and do the bases for sure.
Love the bulk and overall size of the Emperor Class, it's been a while since it's seen the tabletop though since the Retribution came along.
One of my favourite designs of a ship this.
Next up in the lightbox photos is the Chaos Ark of Omen.
I have two sizes of lightbox but even the largest couldn't handle the Ark. So I improvised. Turned out well I think.
The downside to getting it all in shot is you don't get the details easily. Hopefully it'll see its first battle this week against a Tau or Marine fleet.
For anyone that has this file and is/is thinking of printing it, my advice would be to not skimp on the filling process. When you print it some parts will warp, not align properly, as can happen with resin. The building process seems complex at first but comes together after a few parts but take time filling.
I've pictures of each stage of my process on Instagram, from bamboo sticks internally to the final paint elements.
It's on a 150mm resin based which has rings spaced so the 60/90mm markings are evident for measuring.
It is an amazing ship.
A Charybdis Hive Ship of the tonight.
The Tyranid fleet is my second largest fleet, only tipped by chaos due to the chaos ark.
That painters block has come around. Not picked up a brush in nearly two weeks now. I decided to take some Lightbox photos of some of my favourite ships from various fleets whilst I have this painting lull
To kick off, this Ship of the Line from my fleet from . I did take some Lightbox photos of this when I'd finished it but I think I've dialled in the camera settings a bit now.
Anywhere here we go.
