Natasha John Lord Specialist Flooring - Being an apprentice in the flooring trade means gaining skills for life. I feel a great sense of pride breaking into a traditionally male-dominated industry like this.
Aqua Dale Price Flooring Solutions Ltd, I have been an apprentice for just over a year. I was a little bit nervous when I first started thinking I might be treated differently, I soon realised I had nothing to worry about & customers love seeing a woman coming to fit their floor. I cannot thank my boss enough for giving me the opportunity and being the first female apprentice learner at CP Assessments Ltd, this course has shown me I can do the work just as good if not better than the lads!
Porcher Don Woods Flooring Ltd, I have been a floor-layer apprentice for just over a year. It's been the best opportunity & decision I have made. I have done a lot better than I thought I would & I have progressed and come so far and keep going further everyday with determination and with pushing myself to do better each day.
Molly, I work for CRS & I became a groundworker as my father owns his own business, one day in my future I hope to take over the business and become known for my service in the construction trade in different parts of the UK.
