WE HAVE SOME GREAT NEWS!
Thank you for all your efforts and contributions so far, it’s been a great public and community response.
On behalf of Hollins and Unsworth Defibrillator Fund, we would like to inform you that our Third CPAD (Community public accessible defibrillator), “Bugs” has now been fitted at Blackford House Medical Centre, Croft Lane, a big thank you to them for hosting the unit.
Also a special thanks to Crown Oil Bury for their contributions towards local charitable campaigns, it’s great to have local businesses involved.
A big thank you again to Outwood Electrical Ltd of Unsworth for their free installation. 🙏🏻
The CPAD will be registered imminently on The Circuit, ( A nation data base of community accessible CPADs 24 hrs a day) and this vital piece of life saving equipment will be there for everyone’s use. NWAS (North West Ambulance Service), will point you in the direction, if it’s needed.
You have made some very kind contribution, but please help us to raise more funds. We are looking to providing 10 year plans for all our defibs (replacement pads, batteries and insurance) and any help and contribution, no matter how small will help us achieve our goals.
Keep safe everyone 🙏🏻
I would rather be looking at this equipment, rather than looking for it. ❤️

Hi all,
We wanted to highlight a true community champion in our local area. Her name is Alison and she is raising money for Defibrillators right across the country by making pompom wreaths. Each are sold for £25.
Alsion can be contacted at 07912793438 in case you want to order one :)
We are just £230 away from purchasing our first defibrillator.
"Why so much?" we hear you ask. The actual case and defibrillator is about £1,800 but the 'added extras' include insurance and a yearly fee to renew equipment.
We are so close to having the first village-owned defibrillator. If you can spare any money, please follow the link on our pinned post or send the money by bank transfer to:
