KICKSTARTING MY LOVE OF AUTUMN

Autumn nails are a new firm fave of mine.
I’ve always stood by the fact that I don’t like darker colours but something has changed this year. I’m much more open to trying new colours, especially on my own nails. I’ve even got black on my own nails right now and I know a few people will be shocked by that.

A popular choice for autumn nails has definitely been a star here and there.
Either paired with a French tip or solely on a n**e background, they’ve been up there as my most requested nail art looks.

Obsessed would be an understatement!

The brief was deep tones of red with a marble type effect but add some glitter.

My first thought was tortie nails to build up layers and different tones and add some depth. Safe to say my lovely client loved them as much as I did.

TORTIE LOVE

I’ve got to be honest, a tortie set used to give me the fear. I absolutely dreaded being asked to do them.

I don’t know what’s changed but I can honestly say that I absolutely love doing them now. I’m not the quickest at doing them and they are kinda messy but what tortoise shell is pristine perfect.
