Gina Kay is back in thr building with her one woman entertainment programme. Singing and Dancing her way through from 4.30pm until 8/8.30pm.

DJ Gregg is in the house tonight from 9pm through to 1am with the great mix of sounds through the decades. Come along and see what fun we get up to tonight. You know the drill. Be prepared to have a sensational time here at the only Old White Lion. 🎧🎤🕺 Come along and strut your stuff, Saturday Night Fever strikes again.

Tonight we have the one and only DJ Scott with his karaoke show that cant be missed. From 9pm through to 1pm. Come along and join the madness that we all know and love.

WELL WHAT CAN I SAY 🤔

Just over a week ago I posted on this page about upcoming charities that we were hoping to help on the run up to Christmas. Today I have been donated 2 bags of Tinned/Dried Food that will be donated to a local food bank or those in need, and 1 bag of clothing that will be sent to local charities including Bury Homeless Project and Only A Pavement Away.

There will be more details over the next week or so about these charities and dates that we would like all donations to be handed in by, to enable us to sort through and allocate to appropriate charities. Please keep watching this page.

I will never fail to be astounded by the generosity of you our valued customers/friends.

Last month we held a charity event for Andysman Club, Bury branches. As any money donated is sent to their head office and swallowed up with running/admin costs, we were asked to donate goods that can be used at their meetings. Below is a photo of us meeting to hand over basic essentials such as tea, coffee, biscuits etc to the local branch earlier today. They were overjoyed and sent their eternal thanks. Xx

Friday nights mean one thing, Karaoke at The Old White Lion. It has to been seen to be believed. Come on down and have a go with our very own DJ Scott. Its madness from the moment he starts until the moment he finishes. 9pm through to 1am. Great Prices, brilliant fun, and an atmosphere that just cant be measured. See you all later.

Isn't it uplifting when you receive compliments on the standard of the products that you are serving. 1st time customers saying that its clear we look after our drinks/cellar. Thanks lads 🙌

Hi guys and gals. Here's a head's up as to what your favourite pub will be up to over the next few weeks.

We will be collecting for the following charities so please start looking through your cupboards to see if you can help.

Only a pavement away - clothes/toiletries to donate to those who have found themselves going through tough times. As the name suggests, we can all be in a situation where we struggle to provide for our families through rising costs etc.

Toy Appeal - new if possible, to be donated to childrens homes, childrens charities and Hospitals

Food Bank donations - the clue is in the name. Any tins of food/packets of dried food will be more than welcome.

Children in Need - friday 15th November. Raffles will be going on through the day and all monies raised will go towards this great cause.

Lets support all these in the great Old White Lion style. Xx
