Hi, my name is Robert Russell and I played for England Deaf Rugby Union we are going on tour to South Africa in August and with this we are having to rise funds ourselves as we are a charity group and would like to ask for your help.

What we are after are players, wanting to have a run-out the cost will be £10 per a player (food after the game), car parking will be a donation and a Raffle after the game, back in the club house at Bury RUFC

A 27-foot ‘Knife Angel’ made from more than 100,000 knives will be unveiled in Bury town centre on Friday 1st March.
The Knife Angel will stand near the intersection of The Rock and Tithebarn Street until 27th March.
This impressive structure aims to raise awareness and educate people on the impacts of knife crime.
The project is being led by the Bury BID (Business Improvement District) in partnership with Bury Council and Greater Manchester Police.

What a fantastic night with the Pontiac Band here at Bury Sports Club. We chose to raise monies for Prostate Cancer UK with the proceeds of a fantastic raffle. We have managed to raise £520:00 on the night.

With great expense to the club we have managed to complete the re-seeding and patch work to the Rugby Pitches, so PLEASE ensure that you ALL walk around towards the houses to gain access to the Derby and NOT through the training area between both pitches.
