Spring is in the air at Signature with our fresh and beautiful new window display
We'd like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to the staff who took my mum to the Crematorium in Accrington today. It was a very beautiful and moving place and I had the chance to feel close to her for the last time. The two staff were so courteous and respectful and when they bowed their heads over mums coffin I was very grateful and touched. The wood of the coffin with her name on it was beautiful and I am so glad I went. Thank you for your support and kindness throughout the whole process.
It's that time of year again when we donate a tree to the Hawkshaw Methodist Church Christmas tree festival π
This year was a little different from the memorial tree we did last year, as we did a Christmas workshop with the residents of Faraday House in Tottington, who made the star decorations.
We named our tree "stars of our community," which couldn't be more appropriate. And we had lots of fun doing them.
So thanks again to the staff and residents of Faraday house. We had a fabulous time β€οΈ
We are absolutely delighted to be listed yet again as one of the top three Funeral Directors in the Bury area.
Thank you so much for all your continued support, beautiful reviews, and recommendations. We feel honoured to take care of your loved ones.
Here at Signature, we think it's important to give back to our local community whenever we can.
Over the last few months, we have been doing different workshops throughout Haslingden, Ramsbottom, and the surrounding areas.
This week, we had a Christmas decoration making afternoon at Faraday House in Tottington.
We had an amazing turnout with 25 residents and staff joining in.
There was so much glitter, environmentally friendly, of course, that Faraday House will be sparkling until the festive season has come to an end.
We would like to say a huge "thank you" to Jackie and her amazing staff for giving us the opportunity to spend the afternoon with them and, of course, to the residents for joining in and making it a success.
Last but not least, thanks to Marina for her fabulous baked goods. The ginger cake was divine.
Our workshop diary is now full for 2023, but we would welcome any enquiries for Spring 2024.
Please get in touch for details.
As the cold, dark evenings draw in, we thought we would change our autumnal window to a winter scene π₯Ά βοΈ βοΈ
We will remember them β€οΈ
A beautiful, rustic floral tribute. The simplicity of it is just stunning.
Many thanks to Buds To Blooms of Haslingden.
The details on this personalised coffin are unbelievable.
The quality is plain to see, and with its high gloss finish, it really is a masterpiece.
At Signature Funerals, we feel everyone deserves a send off that's as unique as the person who has passed away.
There are many ways we can help you do this, whether it be a meaningful eulogy, a beautiful poem or a piece of music that will always be associated with your loved one.
Not many people realise that you can also choose a coffin that reflects some of the things your loved one enjoyed before they passed away.
We recently had the honour of conducting a funeral for a gentleman whose passion was playing the organ, so his family thought it would only be right to choose a coffin to reflect his love of playing.
As you can imagine, the coffin made people 'stop in their tracks' as the gentleman was taken on his final journey.
last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a flower arranging workshop with some of the resident ladies at Haslingden Hall and Lodge care home.
The ladies made beautiful arrangements and added lots of bows and sparkling butterflies to finish off their creations. Something in their rooms they can enjoy for days to come.
It was so nice to be able to take the time to chat whilst listening to stories from their past.
Many thanks to Natalie and staff for allowing us the time to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
We are so looking forward to our next workshop at Haslingden Hall and Lodge, where we will be making Christmas decorations π
Baby loss awareness week recognises those who have lost a little one.
We understand that families have to deal with their grief every day, not just this week, but our hope is that with increased awareness, the world can unite to offer comfort and support to those who are affected by such a devastating loss.
We recently had the privilege of looking after a young lady, whose family chose not to follow tradition, as that didn't fit their daughter's personality, so went with a bold colour.
With her love of red lipstick and nail polish, they knew red was the only colour to choose.
Once, her family saw the coffin. They knew they had made the right choice. It was bright and beautiful. Just like their daughter.
Well, what a day. Our first ever Macmillan Coffee Morning at our Haslingden branch was a huge success. The amount we raised was a HUGE..... Β£291.25!!!!!
We welcomed so many new faces and enjoyed a coffee, cake, and a natter before showing them around our lovely family rooms.
Any fears they had about a Funeral Service were soon forgotten, and lots of questions followed.
It was good to see a change in their views from when when they first arrived.
We would like to thank each and every one of you who took the time to come and help us raise so much money.
Many thanks to Louie, Lisa, and the girls at
Be You Lifestyle Boutique for your generousity.
Not only did you donate a Β£25.00 gift voucher, but you supplied us with fabulous goody bags and iced Prosecco. We are truly grateful.
One of your lovely customers, Wendy, kindly donated some baked goods. I used the term "baked goods", that was until we saw them. Wow, they were out of this world and tasted even better. Thank you.
We would also like to thank Fitzpatrick's Temperance Bar for their donation. I'm sure the cordials will go down a treat.
Emma from Buds To Blooms Florists donated one of her amazing floral bouquets. It was absolutely stunning. Thank you.

5 years of serving our community.
What a weekend we have had here at Signature Funerals.
We celebrated our 5th birthday for our Ramsbottom branch.
5 years since our dream of being independent Funeral Directors, serving families with a funeral that is personal to them and their loved one.
We see it as an absolute honour when you entrust us to help you at this traumatic time.
We will continue to serve our community, professionally, caring, as well as being on hand to help you with your loss before and after a funeral.
We thank you all for helping us to achieve our dream.
Every year, too many loved ones are lost to cancer.
Macmillan raises money to help with research, emotional, and physical support to the patient, family, and friends, as well as financial and practical advice.
Please help us raise much needed funds and join us for our Macmillan Coffee Morning.
