I had a fantastic time over in Leeds today. One of my former students is heading back into piercing following maternity leave, so I went over to do some refresher training with her, and we had an absolute blast. She'll be back in the swing of things in no time! Well done lovely lady.

Someone sent me this, and I love it. To me, it doesn't mean that I have to unquestioningly accept things going wrong. It means that I can try to use every experience, both good and bad, to its fullest by learning everything I can from it with hope that I will be better prepared next time around and eventually things will start to come right. The bad stuff sucks and always will, but seeing as there is no getting away from it, I can make sure that however it ends up, I'm not taking it lying down(!)

I met a lady (from down south!) on Wednesday who has spent about 12 years wanting her nose pierced and has not yet had it done because she is worried it won't suit her. I hope I was able to reassure her because a better body piercer will always take the time to make sure that jewellery options, placement, and aftercare are discussed in detail so that clients will be happy with the results. It can be weird looking at yourself in the mirror when you have a new piercing but give yourself time and you will soon be at ease with it.

I love this fresh Faux Snug and Flat Helix combo. The Faux Snug is definitely one of the unsung heroes of the piercing world I always think because you get the badass look of a healed Snug straight away. It is actually a Conch and a Helix piercing, so downsizing bars is still necessary but because the extra length is at the back of the ear, it is invisible from the front unlike the traditional Snug placement which passes horizontally through the Snug itself.

Some of you have been asking about ge***al piercings. Here are the answers...
1. Yes, I do a lot of them. Mostly hoods, PA's, ampallang, apadravya, Frenum/Lorum, Labials, guiche, ladders, Dydoes and Triangles. I also help people with stretching ge***al piercings
2. I perform them using blade needles. For PA's I usually start at 8g (3.2mm).
3. No, I do not need you to send me pictures of your anatomy beforehand.
4. No, I will not allow your partner to watch during the piercing. This is not date night!
5. Yes, I have personal experience of ge***al piercings.
6. The most important thing you can do before deciding on ge***al piercing is research. This includes talking to reputable piercers about what to expect.
7. Of course it hurts... but not as much as you think and not for very long.
8. Good aftercare is vital to the health of ge***al piercings and it is YOUR responsibility to follow the advice given. Don't get one done if you aren't willing to put the graft in looking after it.

Happy Halloween everyone! It was lovely* seeing all the kids get a fright from my spooky dolls when they came trick or treating tonight. I made sure that the treats made up for the screams and I tried my best to stop the screaming doll jumping out at the toddlers, but I didn't always manage it. Now it is time for my favourite part of Hallloween... peace, quiet and reflection. There is so much positive energy tonight. Halloween always brings good vibes if you let them in.

A question I am often asked which I can never give details for is "Have you pierced anyone famous?" Feel free to comment with any famous encounters of your own!
❤️ There are clear reasons why I can't give details here but the short answer is yes. Several famous* people have been pierced here. *degrees of fame vary!
🔥 Two of my "famous" clients have even since brought their children to be pierced here, which was cute.
😍 I was once asked to visit the home of a very famous footballer and teach his wife to pierce his eyebrow for a charity lockdown thing... piercing to be aired on telly. I refused.
💎 One of my famous clients was not actually famous when I first pierced her but is now a professional footballer.
🎶 One of my clients is in a famous 90's band and she has a voice to die for! The band are still active.
🤩 Another two of my clients are in a really ace rock band... locally famous maybe, but definitely on their way to huge things.
😇 One of my famous business clients sent me a bottle of champagne which I drank without knowing how expensive it was!
📻 Several notable radio DJ's have given me shoutouts to thank me for their new piercings. I also raised some money for a cause to show support a local DJ's son who was raising money for a NICU unit.

So this was my Wednesday.... If this had happened on camera I would no doubt make it to googlebox! I am back in the shop today, tomorrow and Saturday as normal so I will be getting through messages, orders and admin in the next few hours! In all seriousness, I have the utmost respect for people who are on TV all the time. I found one day hard work but it was definitely a bucket list experience 😂😂
