🫡The Major is a busy long standing community, sports and cask ale pub situated in heart of Ramsbottom. We have a multitude of events throughout the week, including quiz and poker nights, live music and match days. We also have the new addition of a stonebaked pizza oven which is served 4 evenings of the week.

🫵We are looking for extra Bar Staff for evenings and weekends. Experience is preferred. Roles include serving drinks, taking orders for pizzas, cleaning duties to keep the pub tidy and in order.

🍕Helping to make pizzas in the kitchen. Experience isn't necessary for this as you will be given training.

⚠️The ideal candidate would have a good knowledge in bartending and customer service.

For some reason, somebody has claimed our business page on Google and keeps changing our business hours 🤷🏼‍♀️ Our opening hours have not changed and are as follows….

Monday - 4pm-8pm
Tuesday - 4pm- 8pm
Wednesday - 11:30am-2pm & 4pm-8pm
Thursday - 11:30am-2pm & 4pm-8pm
Friday - 11am-2pm & 4pm-8:30pm
Saturday - 11:30am-8pm

We will be closing at 7:45pm….so be sure to get in earlier to get your chippy tea for the match 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🐟

Fish & Chip Day is on Thursday 6th June this year to coincide with the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Please join us to celebrate!!
