HairTransformation

This week has been powerfully productive as I continue to conquer numerous obstacles, including a recent knee injury. Despite a new MRI last week revealing 4 new tears in my tendons, I continue to walk and work, fueled by the knowledge that others have faced even greater hardships at war when they have to run for their lives or those that prove we can have victories at the Paralympic’s. Their resilience motivates and inspires me to persevere as I create an avatar of them in my head and believe in pushing myself to my own limits.

I have discovered my purpose in life, which is to inspire and guide others. While I may not be able to reach everyone, my message remains clear: we all have the power to achieve anything we set our minds to. Surgery is now unavoidable for me, so as I prepare to take some time to recover, I am taking steps to care for my injury through swimming, Cairo therapy, and proper self-care. Thankyou to all of my family, clients and friends who are the light of my life 🫶🫶🫶. A conversation with a close friend today reminded me of the importance of fulfilling our own responsibilities so that others can fulfill their destinies.

Our salon Instagram survived the great downtime saga and is now up and running! It’s like a fresh start, a phoenix rising from the ashes of social media glitches. 👽

Not being able to chat with our amazing American artists was tough. It made me realize how social media rules our lives. It’s important not to get too hooked or consumed by it, but sometimes it’s hard when the media and the world we live in set this tone for our future.

I wasn’t twiddling my thumbs during the downtime. I started a new account, played the waiting game for another week, remembering its just one platform and a whole business alone is not built from it. but now thanks to it’s back 🤲 If people knew the sweat and sacrifices behind running a business, they’d feel empowered. It’s not always a walk in the park!!

So, let’s not forget the bigger picture. Social media is just a tool. Our business is about passion, effort, and resilience.
