Take a look at a recent pre-planning application that is currently in with the council at the moment.

A pre-planning application is a preliminary step you can take before submitting a formal planning application for a construction project in the UK. It’s like getting early feedback from your local planning authority to see if your project is likely to be approved.

Here’s how it works:

Initial Proposal: We will prepare a basic outline of your project, including what you want to build, where, and any key features.

Submit Pre-Application: We send this outline to your local planning authority. This can often be done online through their website.

Feedback: The planning authority reviews your proposal and provides feedback. They might tell us if there are any issues, suggest changes, or indicate if your project is likely to be approved.

Refinement: Based on their feedback, you can make adjustments to your plans before submitting a full planning application. This can save time and money by addressing potential problems early.

A pre-planning application is not a requirement, but it’s a useful way to gauge the feasibility of your project and improve your chances of getting formal approval.

It's always a great day receiving a GRANTED planning permission letter, however it's even better when it's approved for something that is going to help the local community ✅

As many of you may already know since September 2023 we have been raising money for our community space fund.

For those who don't know we aim to open a community space to house a sensory room, kitchenette, cafe to allow people to learn cooking skills, youth club, community hub, donation cafe ran & so much more!

We are rapidly outgrowing our current container facility which houses our toilet & small sink area 🫣

Dropping a container on site isn't just an easy request & involved planning consent aswell as professional drawings, explanations & all requirements way above our knowledge.
So thank you to the amazing Thorp Design Services Ltd who offer there services & put our plans onto paper!

Permission for our community space has been GRANTED!!!
