You have probably already seen, but both High Peak Gymnastics and Fit Forever classes are cancelled today due to the weather.

New Classes starting Monday 5th Feb

Gary from Fit Forever will be starting classes at the sports centre on Monday 5th February at 6-30.
The Monday class is going to be a circuits class, Thursday session will be a bootcamp style class.

Suitable for any fitness levels or abilities . Contact Gary directly for any information or to book a place.

Yoga classes with Accidental Yogis at Harpur Hill Sports Centre this week!

Newbies always welcomed to our friendly and supportive classes 🙏

It’s our Moon sequence this week as the full moon is upon us again (a wolf 🐺 moon!). This is a lovely sequence of poses where we take our time and enjoy that build of strength and stretch 💪

It’s been a while since we’ve done a guided visualisation in Yin yoga so that’s what we’ll be doing this evening. Gently stretching, beings support by props as you relax in poses for 3-5 minutes! 😍💤

Zara is here now with her magical Christmas Horse that poops mince pies!

We’d like open the grotto to all and say come on down regardless of whether you booked or not 🥰

We now have a surplus of selection boxes and treats we’d hate to see go to waste!

We are at Woodlings Nursery in the Scout Hut on Macclesfield Old Road!

We break for lunch at 1 then have an adult Sen session at 1.30 so all welcome from 2-4 x

New lights all fitted. So now we have much more light for less than half of the electricity cost. High Peak Gymnastics

Welcome to our new page!
Harpur Hill Sports Centre is now back open. Originally part of Buxton and Leek College, the sports centre and the rest of the site was taken over by the University of Derby. It was then mothballed about 5 years ago and has sat empty ever since. That is still a better fate than the rest of the site had – it was demolished to make way for all the new Persimmon houses.
The main sports hall is now a space dedicated to Gymnastics and Free Running.
In addition to the sports hall, there are some “classrooms” which we now rent out by the hour. These are perfect for anyone wanting to run fitness classes, bootcamps or dance, yoga, pilates, zumba etc without having to take on the expense and risk of securing their own premises. Additionally, the rooms can be used for meetings, training days or even kids parties.
If you have in idea for something that you want to run, please get in touch and we can arrange to meet up and we can show you around!
