We are all set up at Machen Show, our free mini assault course for the under 16s is supplied by FORCES FITNESS, there will be a prize awarded at the end of the day for the fastest competitor.

This Saturday at Machen Show come visit our tent and meet a few of Machen Branch RBL committee members.
We will have a free assault course provided by FORCES FITNESS for children aged 16 years and under, with a prize being presented for the fastest contestant of the day.

Today two of our veterans Mike and Derek visited Rudry Primary School to talk with the children about their experiences whilst in active service, they were also joined by Benjamin our standard bearer who was able to show the children the flag and explain to them the role of the standard bearer.
We look forward to talking with other local schools over the coming week.

It is with deepest sorrow that the Royal British Legion marks the death of our Sovereign and Patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen has served as Patron of the Royal British Legion since 6 February 1952. We are immensely thankful for Her Majesty’s faithful service, and we join the entire Armed Forces community in mourning the loss of its Commander-in-Chief. The Queen’s unwavering dedication to the British Armed Forces will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences are with the Royal Family at this sad time.
