As the year approaches an end, it’s a good time to reflect on our 2023. It has been a highly rewarding and exciting year with company growth, new products launch and industry recognition. We would like to express sincere gratitude to our customers, partners and investors for their acknowledgment, and most importantly, heartfelt appreciation to our diligent and talented employees for their continuous pursue for excellence!

With concluding in Dubai last week, we've taken the opportunity to reflect on our strides forward in sustainability - a pillar for CGD since its first day of founding.

As a fabless company, we not only produce highly energy efficient products but also strive to reduce wasted energy by looking back to our supply chain. This year, we also chose to pursue and achieve ISO 14001 certification at an early stage of a company! Read more details: https://orlo.uk/b4sc8

Looking ahead to 2024, our focus will be on developing our scope 1-3 emissions calculation and delving into strategies to reduce our emissions effectively. We are also looking at ways we can make a tangible impact in the community, further solidifying our commitment to a sustainable and socially responsible future.

From the very beginning of the GaN story, people have talked about how the simultaneous achievement of high-frequency operation and high efficiency is finally possible because switching losses are minimized - for a number of reasons related to the nature of GaN switches - which helps for many converter topologies. However, it is also widely acknowledged that GaN transistors have been difficult to operate - using additional components or even customised gate drivers is recommended by manufacturers to ensure the transistors operate safely and reliably.
