Been in a bit of a funk lately, creative and personal, (it happens!) so what better antidote than to go through Gabby and Calum's wedding photos by ! love these little snippets that capture the natural vibe. (Gabby greeting her bibi just before the ceremony, before walking down the aisle to get her man! A few of the many table flowers and a delicate ethereal shot of the bridal bouquet)
P.S Very special thanks to my son in law , and also .For transporting me and my flowers!

A special birthday bouquet for a lady who is very special to her family, I'm sure she had a great day with them......
Family can be far apart in different parts of the country, even the world! We may not see them often but they are still very important to us, so when they do get together it's even more special!
Ffffffriday flowers, two contrasting bouquets; one bold bright and sassy! the other floaty, light and pale...loving the gorgeous variety of dahlias and heavenly cosmos at the moment....supplied by Jane
My granddaughter came with me to a PYO Dahlia field and picked her own bunch, I think she did really well with her colour palette and texture! And she is only 8! ❤️
A couple of late summer bouquets from last week, happy little sunflowers with gorgeous floaty cosmos and a meadowy little number with hypericum and small asters.
Love these confetti shower photos! (Of course they also feature the bouquet!) Nice and natural, they look so happy.....❤️
Just had to share this lovely photo of my beautiful girl! She is taking a short walk to the registry office with the bridesmaids, to get married-looking very happy! I managed to incorporate her colours and her favourite flowers into her bouquet, it was a labour of love 💕
Please forgive the unprofessional photography! Better will follow. Just a few snaps of my daughters wedding this weekend, of course I provided the flowers! (Special thanks to Fiona of for supplying such a gorgeous variety of flowers)It's difficult to capture them in situ, but it gives an idea. The bride and groom worked hard to give clever little details for the venue which gave a lovely handcrafted feel. The last pic is obviously the bride before removing her veil, she looked beautiful in simple splendour! Haaaa and now it's all over but it was a truly lovely day!
Love a mixed bucket of flowers; there must've been over 25 different varieties from .
The Australian sender was very happy with the photos I sent her to say a special thank you to dear friends in Cambridge. So many messages can be sent using Flowers...
A fluffy little posy for a birthday girl and a customers photo, perhaps not taken at the best angle, I really appreciate their kind comments and photos, "Absolutely beautiful" came with this!
I know it's not much but I'm a little proud; this little vase of flowers are the first since I started to grow a few plants specifically for cut flowers....I will never be a flower farmer! But I will take pleasure in adding a few of my home grown to my work 😊
Despite the poor summer weather the flowers seem to grow as they would normally, luckily. 12 jam jars for my best customers 70th birthday party and a tea party the next day.....they are always overjoyed to receive their flowers, so nice when customers express their joy!
Not my favourite colour combination but the reds/whites grew on me as I put them together! Specifically requested for a church, communion service. Happy Friday to All!
Unapologetically pink!! no.3 is my favourite small flower-Astrantia.....so intricate and gorgeous....!
Then there is the blue/purples accented with bright green, yellow and pops of orange....summer lovelies
Sorry to bore with my Roses......again!
It's taken 5 years to get to this, after the wrong location, then a move and recovery, it's the first year that they are so bold and beautiful! (Not in comparison to most but to me it's wonderful)
A big thank you to debbie for supporting me in a little photoshoot for , a new directory just launched www.farewellflowers.co.uk , to enable a connection between those wanting a more sustainable approach to funeral flowers for their loved ones, and florists who can supply compostable, foam free natural casket sprays, wreaths, sheaf bouquets etc.
Debbie kindly allowed me to use her workshop and space to photograph whilst supplying me with tea and encouraging comments! ☺️
It's my Birthday today, instead of giving me birthday wishes please watch this! Thank you! 🙏☺️🌸❣️
The Problem with Floral Foam. Floral foam is a polluting, single-use plastic product that has no place in sustainable floral design. It is also used to create ASMR videos for social media...
A throwback of my work, this is to celebrate the official opening of which is a directory that connects customers to florists who use sustainable methods and use all or some British Flowers , of which I am a member, you will find this brilliant resource www.farewellflowers.co.uk.
I love it when the flower farms are open! ( Think I already said that!) Everything is early this year too, the essence of late spring but about 3 weeks ahead. Iris, ranunculus, euphorbia, allium, hesperis, wee tiny little geums. A bigg, very special Birthday bouquet.....
I felt very privileged to be Samantha Whites' First Customer in her lovely new Hair Salon Secret Escape in Croydon, Cambs. Love my colour and cut! Lovely setting on the family farm.....😁👏🥳 Well done that girl!!
Ranunculus again! But just look at them, may be too flouncy for some but not me! Laeyers and laeyers (Mary Berry)
Gorgeous Spring mix from . Divided into brights; orange, yellow, blues, and pastels; pinks, whites and blues... Yes it is spring, the flowers think so but the air temperature does not!! Cornflower and corncockle very keen 😊
"Thank you for such a gorgeous bouquet!! The flowers look so fresh and combination elegant. We all loved it.
Thanks again😊"
I always aim to give a personal touch with any flowers no matter how big or small. I do not do e-commerce as it depersonalises the process, it means that it is slower but much more rewarding all round, (I am not churning out a thoughtless bunch to a name on a form) So when the moment came that special family connection was made.
21st Birthday: S was very happy to receive her bouquet......mum and I were chatting for a month before to collect the details and find the right time and location to surprise her! Tricky when your girl is at University the other side of the country, you want to surprise her but you don't know where exactly she will be on the day.....in the end it did not matter as the special connection between the family was made. The little card with a personal family message on the bouquet was the final seal 🪷

Who wouldn't want local farm grown british flowers?? Ok, so they might be a bit more expensive, but they are so worth it! Strong, amazing, different, unusual and just gawwwjus!!!
As in any other product you get what you pay for, these are about as far away from supermarket flowers that you can get!
