Kids will find it easier to connect with math if we present it as a language. Since language is one of the first things a child learns, framing math as a language means that if a child understands a language, they already have a foundation in math.
If your child struggles with any of these topics, the 11+ preparation or math learning journey could become challenging. To make it enjoyable, focus on mastering these areas first.

This is a standardized test that was used last year as well. It's based on the CSSE pattern and can give you a tentative idea of where your child stands. It can also help teachers and parents identify a student's strengths and weaknesses. Once identified, you can help the student improve in those areas.

Maths Is Easy: Introducing Maths
What if we present math as a language specifically for numbers? Just as a child first learns a spoken language and becomes familiar with its concepts, introducing math in a similar way could build on their existing understanding. Let’s explore how English and math share similarities in this context.
Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, could we implement a bespoke education system tailored to each student?
Hi Everyone,
We are launching a free Fundamental Maths program for students preparing for the 11+ exams this year. The program includes videos, materials, and a variety of mock and topic tests. Please like this post and join our WhatsApp group for more details.
My son isn't particularly focused on academics, but he's passionate about gaming. He came up with an idea that could engage students in playing and learning math through various enjoyable methods. Please take a look and provide feedback on how we can enhance it and incorporate more educational elements.

We believe that individualized one-on-one sessions prove to be significantly more effective compared to group sessions. Group sessions are predominantly driven by commercial considerations and the need to accommodate larger audiences. Hence, our modern educational system often prioritizes economic and social structures over the best interests of students and their learning. Do you share this perspective?

We are seeking an experienced English teacher to assist students in years 3, 4, 5, and 6. This is a part-time position, primarily on Fridays and weekends. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Last-minute tips to enhance 11+ exam performance:
Boost your student's confidence by providing them with easier practice papers, allowing them to achieve higher scores. At this point, you can't necessarily add more knowledge, but you can enhance their focus to minimize careless errors. Some of our students have shown improved concentration when they begin to believe in their abilities. For example, one student saw their Math score rise from 80% to 95% and their Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR) score improve from 65% to over 90%. While their English score remains around 70%, their performance in the last three years' papers (QE) consistently exceeded 80%. I can't guarantee this approach will work for everyone, but it's certainly worth a try.
Starting year 5 batch for 11 + exams 2024. If you want your child to be relaxed and enjoy their studies ( to some extent) and clear grammar school then please send us a message.
