Refurb finished on our latest rental property in Swansea - very positive feedback from agents and potential tenants so far - and five more viewings today…

Before and after lining the walls yesterday…

A day trip to Swansea today. Paul’s pleased with himself as he fitted new glass in two windows, mentored by Ben C Restoration 😍 whilst I ate lunch with the spiders 🕷️ 😳. I did manage some sanding and ceiling washing too 😜. The builders been in and fixed guttering, plumber has put in a few new radiators and proper pipe work. Still feels like a lot to do but it’s coming on. 🙌

Week 5 of renovations ….

Kitchen done ✅

Cleaned, redecorated (white) , new handles, scrubbed the hob, filled wood, made a start on the floor (still more to do). Happy days 💪

It’s a proper pea souper as we arrive at our place in Swansea. Week 4 or is it 5 of renovations? 2.5 days to prepare walls, ceilings and woodwork and begin decorating. Here goes 💪

Picked up the keys to our next refurb in Swansea yesterday. Looking forward to getting started 🔨 🪚 It doesn’t need as much work as the last one, redecorate throughout, tidy up (get rid of whatever those bugs are 😳) , clear garden, new bathroom, new kitchen doors and carpets. Hoping we (I mean Paul 😉) can do the bulk of it with a little help from our lovely builder down there. Watch this space for the transformation! 👏👏

Been to see our next project today. Another smelly house with a very overgrown garden to bring back to life 😂💥😍

Seen some cracking properties today. 🏡🏚️
Left home at 7am in Swansea by 1030, 6 properties seen then a late lunch at The Mumbles.

Spent the day on viewings and researching the current market with the very helpful agents!

After a bit of a break due to a wedding and Christmas, happy to be going back to our investment area today for more viewings and to chat with agents.

Out for a lot of viewings yesterday - offers going in today…

We didn’t post the ’after’ pics of our first project in Swansea, so here you go. New kitchen, partly new bathroom, living room stripped out, re plastered and decorated. All bedrooms re decorated, new doors throughout. Boom 💥

Here’s a selection of the crackers we saw today 🏠 What gets me is that in a couple of these houses the tenants have only just moved out…how is it ok to house people in such appalling accommodation?

Number crunching is now doing my head in 🤯 so it’s off to bed 💤 Back to it tomorrow 😉

The refurb is progressing according to plan - kitchen fit starts today!

The refurb has started, pictures of the rip-out in progress. The rip-out is complete now and we're ready to start putting it all together in the new year!

We completed on our property in Swansea last week - our row of keys is starting to fill up!
