Third D Printing

Apologies for the lack of updates, life gets in the way sometimes.

Here's a few things I've been working on and/or printed.

Just over 20hrs of printing for a customer who wanted a high detail print of Mount Everest, with the customer supplying the stl file.
Printed using a 0.4mm nozzle with a 0.08mm layer height.
I'd say it came out rather well :)

Last week someone in a 3d printing group was asking for someone to print some parts for him, so I responded with the hope of getting my first customer for my newly created 3D design and printing business.
Today he has posted again in that group thanking me for my services.

Apologies for not posting much recently. I have been busy designing and tinkering.

I've been working on a travel chess set and I have almost finished designing the board/case. This is only half of the board, the other half will be a direct copy which I'll do once this half has been finished.
Next up are the chess pieces which will determine the size and shape of the cut outs I need to make in the underside of the board for storage.

I have a new printer on order, and I will be offering multi-colour prints in due course as well. As such, I'm intending to print this chess set using a wood infused PLA filament for the main body, then normal PLA+ for the black/white squares and chess pieces.

I will post an update once I have modelled all of the chess pieces and finalised the design.

Here's that super simple card wallet design I made after being asked to design one.

It's basic, and I intend on making a better version. I started off simple because I'd not designed and 3d printed leaf springs before.

This is my finalised design for a 3x RAW cones filler. I haven't yet printed this version in full, although you can see a prototype version below before some minor changes were made.
The base is captive, therefore printed in place, and rotates to either be used as a stand, or a cone pusher upper thingy 😁

This handy rolling table has a slot dedicated to keeping your king size slim rolling papers safe and secure.
You can also use the V channel as a doob tube thanks to the sliding lid which clicks into place to prevent accidents.
The best part is that it also fits neatly into your pocket.

I test every design I produce to ensure everything is high quality before I release the files for sale, or print the items for sale.

This headset hanger for the Xbox Series X had some flaws. It didn't fit tight enough so when I lifted my headset from it, it came with it and hit the floor causing the front to break.

I have now revised the design to make the front part thicker for extra strength, as well as tweaked the pins to ensure a tighter fit in the top of the console.

Tube for Doobs This is a handy portable storage container to protect a pair of long cylindrical "items". The lid clicks in place to ensure it stays put.

I have just uploaded my "spin the wheel" design to Cults3D.

This can be used in place of a random number generator for social media group competitions, for drinking/party games, for choosing a takeaway dinner option, and many other things you can think of.
