Day and Night shifts available, weekdays & weekends

Must be able to work some Saturdays in November and on other busy Rugby days.

FULL TIME BAR SUPERVISOR/MANAGER

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled/keen Bar Supervisor, someone to manage and oversee our front of house operation at one of Cambridge's friendliest pubs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be able to make staff and customers feel at home.

Temporary Accommodation may be available for someone moving into the area.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bar operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the bar's profitability and customer satisfaction
- Train and supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food and beverage service

Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry preferred but not essential. What I am looking for though is a person who is willing to learn, work unsupervised, has an outgoing personality and who has the temperament to stay calm and carry on. -

- Common Sense is ESSENTIAL, as is a good grasp of the English Language
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with bar equipment and operations
