DEAN'S PORT - TONIGHT!
** THURSDAY 16th NOVEMBER - 8.30-9.30 PM **
Yikes! I am not sure how it has happened again, but the Dean's order for Port for Chapel has just arrived and we clearly made a mistake. Far too much and no room in the College's wine cellar. Such a silly problem. But your dear, kind sacristans have found a solution and convinced the Dean to share it around again, so we hope you will drop in for a glass or two of port and some lively conversation in the Combination Room tonight ... Take a break from stress and studies and come along!🙂
Non-alcoholic drinks are also available.
Thursday - tonight! (16th October) from 8:30 pm in the Combination Room.
Crossways, our winter emergency accommodation project, opened its' doors for a third year last Wednesday. We rely upon the generosity of the local community in helping make our guests feel at home, and are grateful for any support.
Less than a week in and we're already 85% full, providing safety and dignity for people who would otherwise be sleeping rough.
We are always in need of store cupboard items, meaning that guests can prepare their own breakfast and lunch, as well as have a snack when they feel like it.
Many guests arrive with just a bag. We want to ensure they can feel the comfort of a clean change of clothes and are asking if anybody can help us with donations of gloves, tracksuit bottoms, plain t-shirts, hoodies and fleeces.
Finally, if anybody would like to arrange for delivery of a daily newspaper, we'd love to hear from you.
Email [email protected] to arrange collection/delivery.
Members, alumni, guests, and visitors are all welcome at our Remembrance Choral Evensong Service on Sunday at 6pm.
