My Albizia is flowering and my Tamerillo is flowering AND fruiting! Neither of them have done this before… obviously the perfect combination of cool and wet weather, followed by hot and sunny🤷♀️
I made these stained glass stars at a workshop, loved it so much I made lots of little ones for our lovely clients as 2023 christmas presents, not all have been delivered. I have been asked to make some more little ones which I have priced at £15 each. Also if there was a design you would like to me to have a go at let me know. I am going to try snowdrops, blue bells and daffodils.
Sharon has been making stained glass hearts and has decided to sell them at £5 each, they can be delivered locally, postage will be extra.
Workroom ready for my first beginners crochet class this afternoon

Well that’s another open garden day done. Thank you to all those that came along- 139 people through the gate.
Sneak preview of the garden, ahead of open gardens tomorrow. There were many plant casualties due to last year’s weather extremes. Several old friends were lost to us, some have barely survived and are yet to be back to their full strength, a few are still not looking good, but I am not giving up hope that they may yet recover. Meanwhile, new comers have arrived to fill some of the gaps and I have somewhat reassessed what I will grow (and where) in the future.
Just over a week until open gardens for the NGS. Claire’s garden and the spectacular Robynet House garden in Duxford village, will be open 2-6pm Sunday 14th August.
Please come and support the fabulous nursing charities that benefit.
Oops, I bought another tree fern!
Erythrina crista-galli is loving the heat. I saw these amazing flowers on street trees in Fethiye. Chuffed that my own little tree is flowering.
A few garden delights this morning!
Tresco Abbey Gardens on Thursday.
Newly shaped to a few years later
A lovely day working in this beautiful garden. Feeling very grateful.
Just look at these magnificent lesser plantain in my front garden. I do love a beautiful w**d.
Well it has been awhile since I posted on here. Jaime has been mainly working on her own since Darren had his heart attack so I could keep him company, meaning stopping him from doing things he shouldn’t be doing! This photo is of a gnome I made for a client last year hanging in her christmas tree this year. It is so lovely seeing our creations being displayed or in use. Have a lovely Christmas wherever you are and be safe xx
Rearrangement of the conservatory today. The Hoya was trying to take over and was covered in mealy bug 🤮. So I cut it down and relegated it to outside.
Cleaned everything down with white vinegar, then moved the other plants about. Margot and Jerry, cheered from the sidelines whilst I worked!
Garden visits, Day two: Sissinghurst Castle and Merriments.
Garden jolly with Kaye. Day one: Pashley Manor a d Great Dixter.
Loved this garden. All about using what you have, not wasting materials, and low maintenance drought tolerant plants.
And a few more photos

For those looking for us to help them in their gardens please note that we have no availability now and no idea when an opening will free up. We can put you on our waiting list, if you want to wait please contact us. Or have a look at the Gardeners Guild website for local gardeners. It is very busy for everyone in the industry so you may have to wait awhile. If you want info on caring for your garden yourself have a look at the RHS website. Best wishes the Pixies
