If you spotted us at freshers fair but havenβt had the chance to come along yet, donβt worry - beginners are always welcome! We train every Monday (7.30 pm - 9.30 pm) and Saturday (16.30 pm - 18.30 pm) in the Studio Room, University Sports Centre. Just show up and let an instructor know youβre new. - Our usual Saturday session has been taken over by some Northerners, Sensei Anna & Steve Hunt. They're running our usual 4:30pm session at the Sports Centre, followed by a few drinks in town π»
- Sunday 11-1 is our green+, at Queen Edith School. Should be lots of fun, well worth it for anyone looking to grade.

Women of Jiu Jitsu! Interested in giving your feedback on martial arts uniforms? Tamsin Davis is a Taekwondo instructor looking for women to help inform the design of female-specific uniforms, including female-specific sizing charts. Wearing your jitsu gi should give the wearer confidence, whilst adhering to the traditional style of our martial art.

From TODAY, Saturday sessions are back on 4:30pm at the Uni Sports Centre. These are open to everyone, whether itβs your first or 100th session. Tomorrow is our first green + of the year, led by Sensei Soren at the Queen Edith Dojo!

Hope everyone enjoyed their New Years, and is looking forward to getting back on the mat. Monday and Wednesday Sessions are starting again next week (9th), with Saturdays starting once Uni term officially begins (21st).
We've also got a special Green+ this month, which is being led by Raj Soren from on the 22nd! We'll post more details closer to the time, but definitely worth making the effort and open all senior belts.
