We are now starting to see these delightful caterpillars on some bushes.

These are Brown Tail moth larvae and they are starting to hatch inside bushes. These larvae are always in very large numbers and kill plants they have infested.

The hairs on them are highly irritating to the skin, eyes and airways, they have the ability to throw hairs when agitated and can cause severe reactions.
