We are thrilled to announce that we have received planning approval in North Warwickshire for the partial demolition and conversion of barns to form a stunning new home.

This project has been a journey, especially since the site benefited from an existing consent which turned out to be undeliverable. However, our collaboration with Alrewas Architecture has resulted in a high-quality scheme that not only met but exceeded our client's expectations!

The process included extensive design review, assessment of character and heritage importance, with Holland Lloyd leading on pre-application and the planning submission. Alrewas Architecture worked tirelessly to develop an appropriate scheme and the finish (shown in the CGI) highlights the quality dwelling that will delivered here.

This project has been a rewarding journey, from providing pre-application advice to representing our client at the planning committee, where we navigated local objections.

The site, which includes a listed building and is situated in the heart of the conservation area, presented unique challenges and opportunities. Our team worked diligently to ensure that the development respects and enhances the historical and architectural significance of the location. Housing plan for Abbots Bromley restaurant is approved - Lichfield Live® Controversial plans to demolish part of a restaurant in Abbots Bromley and construct two houses has been given the go ahead.

We are pleased to have our latest submission in Birmingham City Centre, validated by the local planning authority. Leading the project team, Holland Lloyd has submitted an application for 43 residential units on a brownfield site within walking distance of the majority of the City.

We are thrilled to announce that our proposal in Blackpool for 4 new build high end dwellings has received planning permission! 🎉

We are delighted to have helped the applicant navigate the system and work with the local planning authority to achieve this consent. The development includes three bespoke designs, terminated by the largest property.

Acting as Planning Agent we ensured the client expectations were maintained on a project that required solutions to a irregular site. Identifying constraints and working closely with the architectural team we were able to present a proposal that received delegated approval.

This forms our second approval in Blackpool following a commercial scheme and we look forward to working on more projects in the north west.

Working with Alrewas Architecture, we have applied to demolish a number of outbuildings and promote an existing brick building to elevate the built environment, while respecting the site's past.

The proposal has been supported by heritage consultants, AC Archaeology, and we look forward to the next chapter in the site's history.

We had a positive project start meeting last week for the redevelopment of the Gracechurch Centre, Sutton Coldfield, with BPG and SAV Group.

By understanding the site, the constraints and opportunities, the team can bring forward a sustainable hub for Sutton Coldfield. We look forward to developing the proposals and meeting with the local community, stakeholders, and groups before a formal planning submission.

Planning approved for the change of use of the building (class MA) and the upward extension to allow two duplex apartments at roof level.

We cannot wait to see this new addition to the City. Birmingham is on the up!

Holland Lloyd is pleased to have submitted the full planning application for the upward extension of a Birmingham city centre site to Birmingham City Council . Working alongside the proposal provides a high quality finish to this prominent site.

Following on from the Prior Approval consent for 15 apartments, this development will enable two duplex apartments to the upper floors and retains the total number of units at 15. The proposal removes the existing roof covering and will utilise an existing support framework - reducing construction waste and improving site sustainability.

We look forward to this scheme being determined and providing another city centre development to Birmingham.

Friday good news! Planning consent was received for the conversion, extension, and alteration of farm buildings in Stafford Borough.

This has been a long process, working with the applicant and architect to get planning approval. After four officers on the application, it feels great to have the approval.

It also feels brilliant to have helped a Staffordshire farm reuse buildings no longer fit for agricultural use. This will diversify the land and provide a positive outcome for an active farm.

The proposals will demolish multiple disused buildings and provide much-needed rural housing. Working with Alrewas Architecture, we were able to extend the rural buildings and promote a sustainable future for the site.

The applicant will now work towards delivering the new homes, and we wish the team every success.
