In some more great news, I'll be working on the 'Springer Rescue for Scotland' Website & 'Spaniel Aid' website.

Both websites are for fostering and rescuing Spaniels and run on WordPress which is handy being I'm a cocker spaniel owner and a WordPress developer!

I won't be charging for my services, they are just both charities I want to help out and hopefully I can help increase donations and improve processes in the months ahead.

I'm submitting proposals this week to both charities of my ideas and what I'll be offering in terms of services, time and SLA.

They will both be treated as a client, so I'll be offering design, development, project management, SEO etc.

The main reason by far is to work with the charities but hopefully people will see my work as the sites improve which may lead to business for myself and I will look at offering a percentage donation from those leads to the charities.

This is all from 3 months ago starting with a new domain.

I use to have a web design agency in London and was top in London for 'Web Design London & 'WordPress Agency London'.

These are hugely competitive keywords and requires a lot of time and money to gain. Unfortunately we didn't have the funds to sustain this and decided to move out of London, also due the enormous running costs for an agency in London which needs to be passed onto clients.

This is why I decided to move to Kent and target Canterbury and Kent. This enables my website to gain a higher ranking and a low cost to the business which then reduces the costs to our clients.

The website will be top for all the major keywords in Canterbury by the end of May. This is also from a new domain purchased in January.

I will then aim to be top of Kent by July for WordPress related keywords.

Many SEO agencies sell their services and charge thousands a month and their own website that barely ranks on the 1st page for major keywords.

A great way of proving my skills and experience is by doing it to my own website in a competitive field.

All my competitors know SEO, so to beat most of them in 3 months demonstrates my ability and what I can do for a local company.
