A true classic, combining tequila, lime and triple sec to create a concoction that tingles the taste buds. The cocktail was supposedly invented in 1938 by a bartender in honor of Mexican showgirl Rita de la Rosa, and is enjoyed worldwide since!

Tonight's drink of choice makes us yearn for the summer! We are breaking from traditional cocktails to bring you the Aperol Spritz ☀️🍾
Aperol has been made in Italy for over 100 years, and has made its way around the world becoming a summer favourite for many. Technically considered to be a type of "amaro" due to its bitterness, it pairs delightfully with orange and sparkling wine. Perfect on a punt in the Summer 🛶

Not much introduction needed for tonight's choice of cocktail. Known by all and enjoyed by many. This classic originates from 1800's America, the exact place and time are disputed, but we know that some might judge us for garnishing with orange as all "old fashioned" cocktails were traditionally garnished with lemon peel... out with the old and in with the new we say 🍊

Tonight's cocktail of choice is a crowd favourite in the Summer when our customers come for the boats, the P**n Star Martini 💋🍸
The etiquette in drinking a p**n star Martini involves sipping the prosecco shot first, to cleanse the palate before enjoying the cocktail, this way you can taste the vanilla, lime and passionfruit that combine to give it its sweet and smooth flavour.

Tonight's cocktail is that order we receive at The Mooring that let's us know the recipient is in for a "long" night, the Long Island Iced Tea 🤩
Popular folk tales about the origin of this classic tend to place it's origins in prohibition era America, combining all the limited booze people could get their hands on into one delicious and easily-drinkable concoction. We say, whether it's from Long Island Tennessee or Long Island New York, we love it all the same 😘

Tonight's cocktail of choice is a speciality of ours as a cafe & bar, the Espresso Martini ☕️🍸
We use a double shot of locally roasted coffee from our friends at in a classic cocktail that was supposedly created for Kate Moss when she asked for a drink that would "wake me up, and f*** me up" 😵🤯

Today we are sharing *the* British Springtime cocktail... The Bramble 🍓
Originally invented by Dick Bradsell in 1980's London for Soho's vibrant and sophisticated night life. Typically British in that is uses London dry gin and is garnished with traditional Spring and Summer berries, such as the strawberries you will find on ours.
This one made fresh, and pretty, by our very own . Come down and try for yourself.

Today's cocktail is a favourite of some of our guys here at the punting company because of its naughtical roots. The Dark and Stormy ⛈️
Given its name by British naval officers after World War I, who were brewing ginger beer to combat sea sickness. When one mixed it with dark rum, a sailor allegedly said it looked the colour of a cloud only a fool or a dead man would sail under.
Pay tribute to the high seas with this one any time you fancy ⛵️

The Negroni is a mark of sophistication, beloved across the board for its smooth balance of bitter and sweet flavors. You know where to come for the first one of the night 🌙
