What a fun weekend! Thanks so much for the excellent WW2 event at Dover Castle. Here’s Bear - who ended up with his own fan club of youngsters who didn’t like the noise of the battle. Bear looked after them all and reassured them in our Anderson Shelters. He also enjoyed going round the arena in our Citroen P45 lorry! Looking forward to seeing you all again same time next year! #1944
We’re here again for the last day at Dover Castle’s fabulous WW2 event. Always popular are our twin Anderson Shelters. We love to hear all your stories and memories - whether you used one during WW2 or remember them as a play house or garden shed after. Thank you for sharing these with us! We’re available for education, events or just a family party! #1940
A few photos from Dover Castles WW2 weekend so far. It was fabulous weather yesterday, we think the rain has passed today so come on down and join us! Oh and there’s no traffic .. We’ve got our Anderson Shelters, Staghound, Citroen P45 with its light Renault FT tank, the Command Car and a Jeep - newly refurbished for Normandy. #1944

Very excited to be supporting Microsoft’s brilliant Military Careers Transition Partnership (CTP) event in Reading today. And our Spitfire and Hurricane looked amazing outside the building entrance! This event is all part of the support companies provide to our military as they leave service and make the move into civilian life.

We WILL Meet Again… Coming soon to Betteshanger Park CT14 0BF, this lovely new show is now in its third year! Brand new dates of 19-20 August, a great family day out - oh and our Spitfire will be there!
Forgive the moment of indulgence, but we at War and Peace Displays are very proud of our youngest son, brother and friend, who today graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UWE Bristol. A former pupil of The Duke of York’s Royal Military School, he has learned practical skills in our restoration workshops under the direction of our engineer Steve, and has recently started on a couple of Jeeps in preparation for Normandy and Dunkirk commemorations in 2024/2025. He’s not sure which field of engineering he wants to pursue at present, so ideas welcomed! For those of you who may remember him from the original War and Peace show - yes hasn’t he grown!!
And they’re off! After a great day at The Duke of York’s Royal Military School Grand Day, our SE5a and Hurricane are heading to Vintage For Victory! See you there 🥰 #1917 #1940
Our lovely Citroen P45 lorry carrying our replica Renault FT tank, as it would have done. She’s all ready ready for Grand Day at The Duke Of York’s Royal Military School tomorrow. Father of the modern tank, the Renault FT was built for WW1 - but in such great quantity she was still in use during WW2. Read more on our website - www.warandpeace.uk.Com
Wow can you believe how quickly this year has gone?! Suddenly we’re back setting up for the AWESOME Trooping the Colour Grand Day (tomorrow) at The Duke of York’s Royal Military School in Dover. An amazing end to the school year, this day is a proud day for all Dukies - current and past - to show respect to the Colours. We’re delighted to have supported this event for over 10 years.

Our lovely little 1939 Peugeot P53 CL was at the fantastic Wales Airshow at Swansea this weekend. It was actually imported by Andrew English, a journalist for the Daily Telegraph, to ride in the Isle of Man TT, but I’ve not found any follow up information- so if anyone knows him or any more information please get in touch! .alt #1939
