Our congratulations this month to Ellie, Josh, Jess, Claudia, CJ, Sam, Amy and Luis. It's fair to say that we've had an amazing month helping these wonderful students pass their driving tests and wish them every success as they head out on the open road.

We only achieve such excellent results because you aren't just 'another student' to us. All our learners benefit from tuition that is as individual as the people we teach. It's been a good October for Grace and Elisha as they both passed their tests with flying colours, fantastic job ladies 😄

Let's face it, the clocks have gone back and the dark winter nights are approaching, driving to work or college has to be a darn sight better than waiting in the freezing cold for a bus!

We are of course still socially distancing, and indeed socially photographing, not the easiest job for a driving instructor but the car is santised between pupils and your instructor James always wears a mask.

We came across this interesting article today about a growing increase in people taking their tests in an automatic car. But did you know that if you pass in an automatic, you can only legally drive an automatic car. If you want to suddenly switch to a manual then it's back to driving school to take another test 😟

Sure an automatic might be easier but we have always had a manual vehicle because we firmly believe it teaches you better driving skills and gives you the ability to drive either sort of vehicle in the future 😎

Learners park manual cars in shift to automatic The number of people taking lessons in automatic vehicles has risen every year since 2012.

Well Boris unlocked us, we unlocked the car and before you know it, three more fantastic students have passed their tests!

So congratulations to Olly, Jasmine and Aimee, it makes it even more special that you achieved your passes after a very stressful time for us all. But you were able to focus and use the experience you gained with James to finally tear up the L-plates!

We are now booking again and adhering to very strict H&S procedures with all our pupils so you can stay.

It's been a while but we are back on the road 🥳

It's pretty much business as usual, the test centres have now reopened and you are able to book both practical and theory tests again now. We are introducing a couple of new measures in light of the Covid virus to help protect us all.....

1) Your instructor will wear PPE at all times. We are leaving it optional for our pupils to decide whether to wear a mask.

2) The car will be thoroughly disinfected and cleaned after every lesson. We will try to be as flexible as ever with times but please be patient and allow for car sanitisation as it is important.

So with that said, let's go driving and get some passes 😃

Just 9 days into March and already another 3 amazing pupils have passed with Wheeldrive so we feel pretty proud of their accomplishments. Now please don't think we are bragging here because lots of hard work and time has gone into making sure our pupils pass but frankly, results speak volumes 🤪
