Sharna did her first solo tasting session in London yesterday with both Kent Crisps and . The session ran over lunch time to catch people using the canteen to introduce our products too - lots of positive feedback!

We’d like to introduce you to the latest team member at Kent Crisps, Sharna. 👋

Sharna joined us in June as our Sales Executive and has been immersed in the world of Kent Crisps, getting to know our stockists and customers.

A bit about Sharna...

🎓 Sharna is a University of Kent graduate with a degree in Criminology.

🥔 Her favourite Kent Crisp flavour is Oyster & Vinegar ✅

🏖️ Her favourite place in Kent to visit is Whistable, she loves the beach and all the independent cafes and restaurants.

☕️ She loves a shaken brown sugar cold brew coffee with a pump of vanilla syrup from Blank Street

In celebration of International Picnic Day we’re sharing our favourite picnic locations across Kent, inspired by our flavour partners. 🧺

💛 On the beach in Margate with a view of the Turner Contemporary as you watch the sunset on the golden sands.

💛 Take a stroll around Canterbury, taking in the sites of Canterbury Cathedral before heading to Westgate Gardens for your picnic spot.

💛 In the grounds of Leeds Castle, admiring the reflection of the castle on the lake and if you’re lucky you may spot hot air balloons!

💛 At the The Hop Farm in Tonbridge under the traditional Kentish Oast Houses, plenty for the kids here too.

💛 Visit the Romney Marsh Visitors centre and Nature Reserve, admiring the regions beauty and unique landscape.

Our crisps are made with locally sourced ingredients from Kent; cooked in Kentish rapeseed oil and inspired by local produce - not only are we showcasing the excellence of Kent's finest producers, but we're keeping our food miles to a minimum.

Today, on April 22nd, we join the global community in celebrating Earth Day – an annual event dedicated to raising awareness about environmental issues and promoting actions to protect our planet!

At Kent Crisps, we’re deeply passionate about sustainability and our impact on the environment. We’re always looking to monitor our carbon footprint, source our ingredients from local producers to minimise food miles, and always remain conscious of our food waste.

Did you know that our potatoes are British Red Tractor certified? This certification ensures that our potatoes are grown sustainably, meeting rigorous standards for environmental responsibility.

And for those that didn’t know, all our crisp packets are recyclable! While there may not yet be facilities to recycle them at home, you can take them to larger supermarkets with dedicated bins for soft plastics. We’re actively working with the industry on making home recycling of our packets at home a reality in the near future.

Thinking outside the box with our Lamb and Rosemary flavour for spring! Step up your snacking game with a unique Lamb and Rosemary Crisp Bruschetta with Mushrooms, Feta and Honey Drizzle?

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
1 bag of Kent Crisps Lamb and Rosemary flavour
Mushrooms of your choice
1 French baguette, sliced
150g feta cheese, crumbled
2 tablespoons honey
Fresh rosemary leaves for garnish

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven until they're golden brown and crispy. Cook off the mushrooms in rapeseed oil until crispy brown
Crush the Lamb and Rosemary crisps into small pieces.
Once the baguette slices are toasted, spread a generous layer of the mushrooms and crumbled feta cheese on each slice.
Sprinkle the crushed Lamb and Rosemary crisps on top of the feta cheese.
Drizzle a little honey over each bruschetta. .
Garnish with fresh rosemary leaves for an extra burst of flavour.

Serve immediately and enjoy your unique Lamb and Rosemary Crisp Bruschetta!
