As part of our Environment Day, members of the King's Sailing team and students from our International College visited Herne Bay to take part in a beach clean. In conjunction with Herne Bay Sailing Club and Plastic Clever Schools, the group collected lots of small plastics and abandoned fishing tackle from the beach. The day forms part of our application for an Eco-Schools Green Flag, which recognises educators and young people who are taking steps to tackle environmental issues such as climate change, biodiversity-loss, or plastic pollution.
