This Fiesta Ecoboost 1.0 came in with the oil pressure and engine light on. After an oil pressure test confirmed low oil pressure we removed the sump to find the oil pickup completely blocked with debris from the cambelt and oil pump belt, due to poor quality oil or infrequent servicing. Luckily we caught this one just in time before major engine damage occurred! A lot of cleaning, a new oil pump, belts and all other required items replaced followed by an oil and filter change and the car is back on the road!
