A large Beech reduction within Canterbury today.
It required two of us to climb round the canopy and reduce it to get it done in 1 day.

Today in Canterbury, we reduced the size of this large Sycamore. It required two climbers, as the back of the crown extended over a glass roof. We passed the branches between ourselves in the tree to prevent them from falling onto the roof, as alternative methods would not have been effective.

Today, we reduced and removed several shrubs within a garden in Broadstairs. As part of this, we removed two dead Cherry trees. The wood from these was recycled into firewood, which will provide the client some warmth in the winter seasons.

Today, we maintained this Conifer hedge in Ashford. The truck proved invaluable, with its height providing us an advantage to reach the top of the hedge. Upon return, Liam replaced the leaf blowers carburettor enhancing its optimised performance, while Elliot sharpened the hedge trimmers in anticipation for Fridays big trimming job.

Due to interference with BT cables, the Silver Birch was reduced to eliminate obstruction. As requested by the client, the tree was pruned to a manageable pole, so they can maintain it.

Afterward, we serviced all our tools. This routine upkeep is crucial to ensuring our efficiency and effectiveness on site.

This morning in Upstreet, we pruned a Weeping Pear to restore its ideal shape and appearance. Subsequently, we traveled to Canterbury to reduce the height of two Macrocarpas. This adjustment was made to enhance evening sunlight exposure in the back garden, thereby optimizing the environment for both aesthetic enjoyment and plant growth.

Today, we performed our annual hedge cutting service for our commercial client, Perry's. We trimmed the hedges along their boundary fence to a more manageable height and pushed back the faces to create more parking space, preventing cars from acquiring scratches. Next, we attended to a domestic client in Canterbury, reducing the height and shaping a Yew tree that had outgrown its space. Lastly, we traveled to Beltinge for a regular annual client to trim back their laurel hedge.

Today, we were in Herne Bay to remove a Poplar tree that was under a Tree Preservation Order. The tree was in a poor location and decaying from the base up, so due to its condition and low amenity value, it was decided that removal was necessary. We quickly removed the Poplar, and disposed of the woodchip and logs to the Memorial Parks Community Kitchen.
Afterward, we traveled to Canterbury for a regular customer’s biannual hedge cutting, which involved a Privet hedgerow and an Olive tree.
