HELP FOR UKRAINIAN PEOPLE 🇺🇦

Beetbox is organizing a fundraising to collect needed items and supply them to Poland to assist Ukrainian. Remember that every little action counts. If you want to assist, we’ll be welcoming any following items during our usual spot on Friday 11th March at the potluck event from 6pm-10pm at the Pilgrims Hotel in Canterbury.

Items urgently needed:
▪️ FOOD - long term items: instant dish, canned food, coffee, tea, energy bars, modified milk/jars for children
▪️bedding, blanket, sleeping bag, towel
▪️batteries, torches
▪️sanitary items: pads, tampons, masks, toothpaste, toothbrush, pampers, shower gel, shampoo, disposable razor, nappies
▪️ medical supplies/first aids: bandages, plasters, painkillers, patches, oxidized water
▪️ warm clothes: needed but already not priority as we already have lots. IF clothes, better to bring: shoes, thermal closing…

OBVIOUSLY the list is not exhaustive

What a wonderful evening of music, yummy food and great conversation this was - our infamous beetbox potluck ! Looking forward to the next one towards the end of term 😊

Yesterday’s first sell of the year!

Thank you to everyone who trusted us to get their fresh vegetables, who passed by looking interested and welcome to the new ones!

In yesterday’s bags you could find:
- 3-4 potatoes
- 2 leeks
- 2-3 beetroots
- Onion springs
- Loose kale
- Chand
- A bag of mixed salad (including a cute flower)

Don’t forget to book your next bag!

Also, to collect your vegetables, we’ll ask you either to bring your own bag or to give us a £2 deposit for one of ours! You could have your deposit back in bringing our bag back!
