Join us for our next workshop introducing Neurodiversity in the Workplace.
This fun and informative session has been designed and is delivered by people who identify as being neurodivergent. We hope to show that small, inexpensive changes can make our workforces more inclusive and create a happier workplace for everyone. This makes for a happier workforce and helps maximise our business.

During this session we get to share all our learns from the last eight years and love sharing experiences with other people especially when we are all at different stages of this journey. Learning and celebrating together with our community!

Today marks the start of Trustee Week and we wish to thank the fabulous group of people who sit as Trustees at Lily's.

Without their skills, passion, knowledge and support our Lily's would not be what it is. They are often the unsung heroes who sit behind the scenes supporting and encouraging. They are a group who have very different skills and life experiences but together provide everything the team need to learn, upskills and grow.

Lewis was part of our cohort from last year but stayed with us on another programme to continue his learning and development. This is another wonderful partnership with creative who with us and Lewis to develop his skills. This year he has worked on Creating Different Social Media Templates, Development of Print and Digital Assets, Development of WordPress skills, Understanding Brand Identity Successfully. If you see any of our flyers at any events then they will have been designed by him and all our new social media tiles are his work.

Zoe Rodda has a special thank you to Lewis and the team at Oak for their commitment and patience in supporting us with our digital marketing this last year.

The last of our interns who completed our programme and received all their certificates. Abi worked in our Maidstone site working with Golding Homes and Henry worked in our Canterbury site. They both learnt essential cafe skills such as barista skills, customer service, using the till, counting money but they also learnt skills such as fire safety, dealing with conflict, managing anxiety and were supported with the transition from school to work. We are so proud of their achievements.

Congratulations, Tabby, on your remarkable achievements! You've not only successfully completed the program with us but also embraced a placement opportunity at THE PIG Hotel | B Corp working in the gardens and in the hotel. Witnessing your growing confidence has been truly inspiring and a pleasure to observe. A huge well done - we know these skills are going to be vital in your future!

The local support and partnerships we have from Canterbury businesses is truly beautiful. We wish to thank or donating delicious pizzas which everyone who attended our event enjoyed.
