We’ve received some fantastic news! ✨

Our cold-pressed Kentish Rapeseed Oil with Lemon has made it through to the finals in the Produced in Kent, Taste of Kent awards. 🍋

This wonderful cold-pressed oil is a delicious and healthy addition to any meal and pairs particularly well with chicken, fish and salads.

Over 220 products were submitted to the awards this year, so we're thrilled to have made it through to the finals along with A Little Bit Food , The Wooden Spoon Preserving Company Ltd and Millers Choice Flour in the Savoury Pantry Product of the Year category.

It's still National BBQ Month, and we're all set to fire up the grill with our Kentish Condiments Mayo range for the weekend! 🔥

Our mayos are crafted with real ingredients and our signature cold-pressed rapeseed oil. They come in three delicious varieties: Original, Garlic, and Chilli, each offering a unique twist!

Here are some ideas on how to use our mayo range during your bank holiday BBQ:

Our Rapeseed Oil blended with Lemon is a Taste of Kent Finalist!!! And with that in mind, we thought we'd bring a little inspiration on how you can use it with this delicious Quinoa and Roasted Vegetable Salad, made with our Lemon Rapeseed Oil Blend! 🍋

How to make it:
* Cook Quinoa: Simmer 1 cup of quinoa in 2 cups of vegetable broth for 15 minutes.
* Roast Veggies: Toss sliced bell peppers, zucchini, red onion, and minced garlic with Kentish Oils Lemon Oil Blend. Roast at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
* Mix & Serve: Combine the quinoa with the roasted veggies. Garnish with fresh parsley and an extra drizzle of Lemon Oil Blend for added zest.

It's a perfect summer dish—fresh, light, and full of flavour!

As the weather warms up, it's time to refresh the salad game and we’re incredibly excited to enjoy our first full summer with Kentish Condiments Caesar Dressing since its launch last year! It's quickly become a cupboard staple, thanks to its creamy texture and real ingredients.

* Start with a base of crisp romaine lettuce.

Asparagus season is in full swing! Head over to Macknade or one of our fantastic Kentish farm shops to get your hands on locally grown asparagus.

Stuck what to do with your asparagus? We’ve got an insider tip on how to make the most of this amazing springtime vegetable!

Try tossing your asparagus in our rapeseed oil before cooking. Coat them evenly, then lay them out on a baking tray and pop them in the oven at 180°C for about 6 minutes, or until they're perfectly cooked. Serve them up as they are or with a dollop of Kentish Condiments hollandaise for a truly delicious treat! You could even add a poached egg for a little something extra!

🌱 Rapeseed Update! 🌱

We're thrilled to share an exciting update directly from the fields! 🌾

Currently, our oil seed rape is in full bloom, transforming the landscape into a vibrant sea of yellow. Each flower consists of four beautiful golden petals forming a cross shape, alternating with four sepals. This open-pollinated crop relies on a variety of insects, including bees, hover flies, and pollen beetles, to aid the pollination process.

With the fields awash in yellow, farmer Matt is carefully monitoring the crops to ensure they get all the nutrients they need for a successful harvest! This burst of colour is a sure sign that spring is here, and we're on our way to another bountiful golden season!

🌾 Red Tractor Certified: Our range carries the Red Tractor certification, guaranteeing the traceability and excellence of our oils & condiments from farm to table. Thanks to our partnership with farmer Matt, our oilseed rape is meticulously chosen and grown exclusively for us in Kent, supporting local farmers.

♻️ Zero Waste Production: We handcraft our oils in small batches on-site, ensuring zero waste production. Any by-products, such as rapemeal, are repurposed, benefiting the local cows.

🚚 Wholesale Delivery: Opting for wholesale delivery allows us to consolidate orders, reducing delivery emissions and our carbon footprint.

🍶 Minimal Plastic Use: Our condiments are thoughtfully packaged in recyclable glass, minimising our plastic footprint. Additionally, we utilise reusable cardboard boxes for both oil storage and deliveries.

🔄 Refill System: In response to the growing demand for sustainability, we’ve introduced a refill system and environmentally focused bottle sizes, providing more sustainable purchasing options.

Basil Infused Pesto Pasta Salad with Kentish Oils Rapeseed Oil Blended with Basil.

Ingredients:
* 250g pasta of your choice
* 2 cups fresh basil leaves
* 1/2 cup Kentish Oils Rapeseed Oil infused with basil
* 1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
* 2 cloves garlic
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* Salt and pepper to taste
* Cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
* Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions:
* Cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.
* In a food processor, combine the fresh basil leaves, the oil, toasted pine nuts, garlic, and grated Parmesan cheese. Pulse until the mixture forms a smooth pesto sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
* In a large mixing bowl, toss the cooked pasta with the basil pesto sauce until evenly coated.
* If desired, add halved cherry tomatoes to the pasta salad for extra freshness and colour.
* Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
* Serve the basil infused pesto pasta salad chilled or at room temperature as a delicious side dish or light meal option.

This vibrant and flavourful pasta salad is perfect for springtime gatherings or picnics in the sun!

Eggs-cellent Eggs Benedict with a Kentish Twist.

Gather round and treat your taste buds to a truly special Easter brunch experience with Eggs Benedict made with our signature Hollandaise sauce. Crafted with our award-winning Kentish Oils Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil, our Hollandaise is rich and full of flavour and perfectly paired with your poached eggs.

Ingredients:
Kentish Condiments Hollandaise sauce
Eggs
English muffins, toasted
Butter (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions:
- Start by heating a saucepan of water until it reaches a gentle simmer.
- While the water is heating, warm up the pre-made Kentish Condiments Hollandaise sauce. You can do this by placing the jar in a bowl of warm water or microwaving it in short intervals, stirring in between, until it reaches your desired temperature. Be careful not to overheat - low heat is key.
- Once the water is simmering, crack your egg one by one into a small bowl or ramekin. Gently slide the egg into the simmering, spinning water - a whisk can help for this.
- Poach each egg for about 3-4 minutes until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny. Use a slotted spoon to carefully remove from the water.
- If desired, lightly butter the toasted English muffins.
- Carefully transfer your poached eggs onto the muffin halves.
- Spoon the warmed Kentish Condiments Hollandaise sauce generously over.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh parsley or chives.
- Serve immediately for the best results.

Ingredients 

* 300g sugar
* 302g plain flour 
* 6g salt 
* 8g bicarbonate soda 
* 120g Kentish rapeseed oil 
* 360g soya milk 
* White wine vinegar

👉🏼Sieve all dry ingredients 
👉🏼Add wet ingredients 
👉🏼Whisk 
👉🏼Cook at 170c for 25 mins
