Depending on weather, we'll either be in Eliot College Courtyard or the Forest Drama Studio - both in the same building at the University of Kent, so head on up, rain or shine!

The Templeman is putting on an exhibition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the publishing of TS Eliot's The Waste Land poem, the launch will be on Monday 12 December. As I am sure you know Eliot College is named after TS Eliot, and from first opening the College established and maintained contact with Valerie TS Eliot's widow. The College ran an annual TS Eliot Memorial Lecture given by many great names from literature. The College also put together a small, but important collection of artworks featuring the poet, along with first editions of his works, some of these will feature in the exhibition.
Back in the 1960s when they were designing the University the chief architect William Holford produced a picture of what his vision was. Eliot College had one of the pictures, it's now in the Templeman archives, however I've just discovered that the Royal Academy has a copy as well: https://www.royalacademy.org.uk/art-artists/work-of-art/design-for-library-eliot-college-and-rutherford-college-university-of-kent
