So good to be part of the Labour group’s altenative budget , we presented as an amendment , at the KCC Full Council Budget committee on Thursday. The Conservative budget is all about cutting back on our frontline services and continuing to commission out , so we lose money on other costs such as staff retention, and profit margins. Here’s my speech , pointing out the current political climate we find ourselves in and how we need forward thinking and change in policy and not the shall old , to help get out of this !!
