We aspire to reflect our members' interests by keeping up to date with the Canadian accreditation process, as well as the academic programs Canadian universities offer to fulfill the requirements of the NCA. Once Kent Union has given societies their election dates we will announce when you can put forward your nominations! For now, check out the doc that went out in the last email and start working on a manifesto in relation to the position that you would like to run for.

Mooting and Negotiation Competition
The mooting and negotiation teams are set and have been given their scenarios.  These participants are competing for a guaranteed interview for a legal internship in Canada (working remotely); and, of the participants, a pair will be selected to represent the University of Kent in the MacKay cup.

CLS Annual Maple Ball
Join us in closing out alumni week and beginning the 2022 reading week with the CLS Maple Ball!  This event is CLS’s annual social event and will be hosted in the private guard room at One Pound lane. Dress to impress and bring a friend. Half of the tickets are sold! Secure your spot asap :)
The CLS Moot and Negotiation competition will be taking place during alumni week. If you are looking for an opportunity to participle in a formal Moot and/or Negotiation scenario this is a great place to start.
Winners can secure themselves an interview at Canadian law firm for a REMOTE position and One pair will be selected to represent the University in the MacKay Cup

The National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) team is hosting an info session for all international law school students. For everyone Interested in becoming certified and practicing in Canada this will be a great session to learn about the process and what is required of you to successfully complete the process.
