These Sterling Silver cufflinks have been hand crafted in the workshop here at 23 Sun Street, Canterbury. Topped with fossilized wood that have created tiny little crystals, they sparkle very subtly and look great on a shirt cuff. These simple and elegant hexagonal links can be topped with any cabochon gem....Amethysts will look spectacular here, or Garnets..oh and Peridots, and Carnelians, and a Star Sapphire.....and....
Mokume-gane (木目金) is a Japanese metalworking procedure which produces a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns; the term is also used to refer to the resulting laminate itself. The term mokume-gane translates closely to 'wood grain metal' or 'wood eye metal' and describes the way metal takes on the appearance of natural wood grain. Mokume-gane fuses several layers of differently coloured precious metals together to form a sandwich of alloys called a "billet." The billet is then manipulated in such a way that a pattern resembling wood grain emerges over its surface. Numerous ways of working mokume-gane create diverse patterns. Once the metal has been rolled into a sheet or bar, several techniques are used to produce a range of effects.
Mokume-gane has been used to create many artistic objects. Though the technique was first developed for production of decorative sword fittings, the craft is today mostly used in the production of jewellery and hollow-ware.

Our "Three Claw" collection can be make to any specifications in order to fit the stone. We also have an 8mm round brilliant cut Diamond set in 18ct Yellow Gold with small Diamonds set into the tops of the claws - very pretty. So, bespoke jewellery really can be that simple. Imagine orange Sapphires set in sumptuous 18ct Yellow Gold; Pink Tourmaline set in 18ct Red Gold; Blue Topaz; Tsavorite Garnets; Yellow Diamonds. Or set the pendant onto a beaded string of Coloured Diamonds (pictured); Carnelian; Labradorite..... we can show you how a piece of bespoke jewellery can be designed simply and elegantly
We really enjoyed making this "Bubble" style ring. If you have some gems and don't know what to do with them, this is a great way to show off a few in different colours. You could have Yellow, White or Red Gold, Platinum, Silver or Palladium. Add you might like Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubies, Emeralds or a combination of the all. It is your ring, so have what you like.
How pretty are Opals!!! Naturally a very fragile gem, we recommend earrings and pendants work best for this stone as rings tend to get a bit of a battering being exposed on working hands, and Opals can break very easily. The bright flashes of blues, greens and reds can be quite spectacular and every gem has a completely unique pattern and colouration. There are different types of Opals so be sure you pick the right one for you. Black Opals with intense flashes of red are the most desirable, White Opals with excellent play-of-colour are probably the ones we most often think of, Boulder Opals and Matrix Opals are still attached to their host rocks and give a more earthy look and feel to the stone.
We have books full of inspiration for you to browse through in the shop if you are looking for a bit of inspiration for a design. Of course, we can create your very own bespoke design, just pop in for a complimentary consultation and we shall weave a pretty design for you within a few short days.
This is beautifully handcrafted matching pair of Platinum wedding rings. We can create something jut like this for you, in Platinum or Gold. These ones are set with small Cognac coloured Diamonds. You might like Rubies or Sapphires. You choice.

Emeralds are one of the world’s most sought-after gemstones, with a rich green colour and rarity that have made them a symbol of luxury and wealth. The oldest Emeralds are about 2.97 billion years old, and the first known Emeralds were mined in Egypt around 1500 BC23. Emeralds were highly prized by the Incas and Aztecs when discovered in Colombia, and were used by the Incas well before this discovery. Cleopatra was also known to be passionate about Emeralds.
Always a good idea to have the right tool for the right job....
Did you know - you can purchase your painted design? How about framing it and giving it with your gift so they can see the concept along with the finished piece of jewellery.
Starting with collaborative discussions, ideas are transformed into a concrete vision. Meticulous hand-painted options are presented, drawing inspiration from a vast design library. The chosen design remains exclusive to the client, ensuring a unique and special creation.
Signet rings are resurfacing in the world of fashion. These engraved rings, once known as the “gentleman’s ring,” have a rich history.
Traditionally, signet rings were worn by gentlemen as a status symbol. By donning a signet ring, one announced to the world their elevated social standing. These rings often featured family crests or coats of arms, emphasizing lineage and heritage.
Signet rings served a practical purpose in the past. They were used to seal letters, ensuring authenticity. The unique engravings on each ring acted as a personal signature.
In recent years, the perception of male jewellery has shifted. No longer considered poor form, men now embrace necklaces, rings, and other accessories. Signet rings, once associated exclusively with the aristocracy, have found new admirers beyond public schoolboys. The market has seen an influx of new blood, and sales have surged.
The sleek style of signet rings feels right now, despite their ancient origins (they pre-date the Bible!). These rings continue to make a statement, even in our modern era. So, whether you’re a gentleman with a family crest or simply appreciate their timeless appeal, signet rings are back in vogue.
In summary, the signet ring, once steeped in tradition, is reclaiming its place as a fashionable accessory. It’s no longer confined to the elite; it’s a trend embraced by a diverse audience. So, if you’re considering adding one to your collection, you’re in good company!
