Rolling into the bank holiday like…

I am still on an absolute high from our first wedding of the year. F&J were the most beautiful couple and their wedding certainly reflected that.

Last summer feels like a life time ago, growing a human, covid ups and downs and some phenomenal weddings. I can certainly say 2021 was one to remember. Especially this beautiful wedding which happened to be over my birthday weekend.

It was wonderful to get to work with some excellent suppliers after 18 months of nothing. Now it’s time to look forward and to the next big event in 2 weeks time!

Hello I am Natasha, founder of Natasha Spencer events. I found I had an obsession with all things weddings in my early twenties and after losing my father, Spencer, in 2016. He was a business role model so I decided to take the plunge and set up my own business.

I specialise in marquee events and am a great lover of lists, spreadsheets and organisation and can often be found planning a timeline or two.

When I am not swooning, obsessing or planning events I will be found doing some form of exercise or dressed in some form of leopard print, more than likely both!

Well hello there strangers…. Happy New Year, it’s been a while and I apologise.

I have been rather quiet for but I am back and here to share some of the beautiful images from events of 2021 and beyond.

Last year was simply wonderful, personally and professionally. I grew a third human who has completed the Spencer tribe, set up a second business (more on this to come) booked out my 2022 and coordinated some amazing events including this beautiful wedding for

Today is a very special day. It’s the first wedding of 2021 and my wedding anniversary.

Everyone tells you your wedding day will be the best day of your life and there is no feeling like it. That is so true. It is the start of the best journey of your life and a day you will never forget.

I want to make every couple feel like that day is perfect. Not a stress or care in the world.

So huge congratulations to J&S and happy anniversary to this mug who would still play my leg like a guitar, who makes me laugh and smile everyday, who is my best friend and my soul mate.

A full dancefloor is the best dancefloor! There is nothing worse than an empty dancefloor and the more events I have done the more I notice there are 3 groups of guests. The dancers, the drinkers and the smokers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you have the fear about your guests feeling divided try and position the bar close to the dance floor. This will keep your guests closer and hopefully those dancers and drag a few drinkers on to the dancefloor! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's Friday! It's the weekend and most importantly Monday brings the first change from the government as we head towards normality. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I have a candle obsession! I am not sure many women don't, having said that I still felt the use of candles in One Tree Hill was excessive (this has been my husband and I's lockdown evening binge watch recently) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I am not sure there are many candles that beat the beautiful ones that can be found on candles in the most sumptuous colours to suit any colour palette. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My personal stock is running pretty low at the minute, without being able to host dinner parties it's feeling very sad. Lets hope it's not long before we can enjoy each others company.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Just because the wedding is small, doesn’t mean it can’t be everything you dreamed it would be. I suggest you enjoy every second, make it about the ceremony and the importance of being married. Well hello strangers. It’s been an odd month thus far. There was all of us thinking 2021 a fresh start and it’s been very much the same as 2020.

I’ve found it difficult to find the words to share anything here for a while, hence the radio silence and I think this little cherub is a mirror image of how I have spent a lot of my time recently.
Although socials have been slow I’ve been very lucky to be squirrelling away in the background working towards some beautiful weddings for this year and for next but none are without their fears or concerns.
