Meet Lola! 🤩 This talented little star made her own Flower Crown to wear for her mummy + daddy’s wedding on Friday 🥰

It’s also the reason why we’ve been a little quiet-as Lola’s mummy is my little sister! ♥️ So we’ve been busy flowering up her wedding over at 🫶🏻

We all had the best time! Lola and her sister Marley and cousin Lyla actually helped me with a lot of the prep - filling jam jars and visiting the flower farm to pick some lovely cosmos and ammi for the church hedgerows.

I hope they’ll remember helping with the florals when they’re all grown up 🥹

Lola is so talented and proudly told everyone who complimented her crown that she’d made it herself 🥰

Just got home after a 7am departure to this morning - today’s setup was so dreamy & involved a flower curtain off the wooden arch!

It’s been such a busy few weeks and we officially only have ONE SPACE LEFT for 2025 weddings!

I swear I feel like this EVERY YEAR…

…like shall we just sack off Summer & go straight to Autumn now?! 😭🍂

I think Autumn is my favourite time of year - and I swear the weather is better! Definitely more sunshine, with leafy walks with warm sunny bits coming through the trees.

Wearing super fluffy socks with my wellies and bundling up with my favourite scarf (I LOVE a scarf, I’ve got such a good collection now!) and the pups like it better too - they’re rubbish when it’s too hot!

And not to mention, the floral colour pallete is SO DREAMY in Autumn. Burnt oranges, toffee roses, types of grass that add loads of texture…it’s the best!

So - who’s wishing the Summer away with me?! 🙈 or are you holding out for Summer…? 🌞

…the LONGEST I’ve not posted for?! Almost two whole weeks! 😱

It’s been half deliberate - a lot less people are on their phones in summer so I took a bit of a break from posting.

I’ve also had lots going on, some of which was just NOT on my Bingo Card for 2024! 😄 like getting a new tattoo with 🫶🏻 HMRC making my VAT journey ANYTHING but simple (thanks to for navigating me through it) and finding someone as brilliant as - she’s the best thing that’s happened to the shop at 🙌🏻

The last Beginner Flower School of 2024 was also a massive success - we’ve launched a Pay What You Like flower school day over at .flower.school to celebrate 🪩

And the Business Club members have been smashing it as usual - the new members are getting stuck in to the content and the Friday Food For Thought is sparking some big things for everyone ♥️

Summer weddings are well and truly upon us, with my little sister getting married at later this month 🥰 so this little throwback from and Chris’ big day is giving me all the feels 💐 (📸 )

We have a beach house trip planned for Sept as well as our yearly pilgrimage to Paris 🇫🇷 not to mention my own 7 year wedding anniversary this month (ahem 😄) and I’m off to London this weekend with my parents! 🚂

Sooo much more has happened in between, like the lovely appointments at getting such great feedback, a free training on Money Mindset and the launch of The Wedding Academy with 📸💐we’ve also had 4 private Christmas Workshops booked in already!

So - it’s good to be back on the grid, get had so many gorgeous wedding bookings and 2025 only has TWO SPACES REMAINING! 😱

We had a lovely moment at today…

…a lady came in with her husband close behind, he said ‘uh oh…’ and then told us they’d come from America and that his wife was drawn to come in as she’s a Florist too 🥰

They were on holiday & due to go home in a few days. We had the most interesting chat about her business and what they offer. I told her there’s one thing that blows my mind about floristry in America - the cost of everything 🙈 a £3k wedding here would easily cost more like $6k-$8k over there, as they pay so much more for their wholesale materials 🤯

As we chatted, I started making a bridal bouquet with a wire armature. She asked what I was doing and I explained I just find it gives a bit more support to a slightly bigger bouquet and is less work than using a chicken wire cage.

Well she absolutely loved watching how it worked and even asked if she could take a picture of my little makeshift wire frame 😄 saying she’d never seen anything like it, and wanted to give it a go when she got home.

And as she left, I thought - this is just one of the things I LOVE about floristry. There’s always something to learn and we’re constantly picking stuff up from each other.

I love it when other florists aren’t afraid to learn something new from someone else either. It’s a real strength. This lady had been a florist twice as long as me with a much bigger business in a completely different country. And we still learned a lot from each other today 👌🏻

Our Grab & Go bunches always go flying out - especially on weekends! 😊

They’re bunches that we’ve put together for you, great if you’re short on time or don’t have the headspace to choose every single stem for yourself.

Priced at £5 and £10, once you get them home they’ll need a fresh cut, new water every other day and their stems trimmed as often as you can.

Spray bleach is also the best thing to clean your vase with 🧼

Kelly & Shane were super laid back about their florals & knew they wanted something slightly different and non-traditional.

So this frame setup was what we came up with for the ceremony, which we then moved behind the top table 😊
