Another crochet pony completed and what an honour it is too have created this pony🐴.

This is Harry I’ve had the pleasure of meeting as we are stabled at the same yard. What an horse incredible he is full of personality and a firm yard favourite. Harry loved nothing more than being with his human family and his job especially competing with his lovely owner Lois and taking part in the annual Christmas gymkanas at the yard.

Harry defeated the odds on many occasions but unfortunately passed away recently.

His owners asked if I could incorporate Harry hair in the piece so I have sowed his hair into his crocheted forelock and into his tail. Harry’s owners also requested for his markings in his blaze too be added as well.

I’m pleased to say that his owners are very happy with the crochet version of Harry a keep sake that they can keep forever❤️.

Today’s post is a bit different it’s all about dogs 🐶. Here is Lenny and Lenny has recently welcomed his new human baby brother into the Family. Lenny has been a great big brother to Levi. To celebrate the great start of brother hood their parents wanted me to create crochet teddy of Lenny for Levi.

To say I loved to create this teddy is an understatement as it’s not something I usually create but I love a challenge. All the little details from creating the white markings and sewing the nose detail on the face ☺️.

Lovely day at the Keswick Show today loads of lovely stalls from dog, sheep and horse showing to wrestling a really incredible day☺️.

Of course I seen some wool 🧶at the Mountain Croft living fleeces rugs stall and I had to buy some☺️. The lady’s at the stall were incredibly kind lovely and so informative. This wool is made from the Derbyshire Gritstone sheep a now rare breed of sheep with only 1000 breeding ewes left in England and theses lovely ladies ensure to help to support the breed and its survival. There was not only wool at the stalls there was so much variety!! Kits to make your very own sheep to sheep living fleece rugs which only entails the sheep wool rather than sheep skin and wool like many other sheep rugs. So no sheep are harmed in the making of any of there products🐑. Please go check their page they have an incredible range of products and all goes towards an incredible cause ☺️.

We had some incredible food from burgers 🍔 too crepes 🥞. What a truly incredible day it really was my family and I enjoyed to say the least.

Two crochet personalised ponies what a pleasure they were to make☺️.

First crochet pony the chestnut gelding for my client which had many important details ☺️. The little dot on his blaze bridging on to his nose, his heart shaped marking on the side of his belly, his white socks all different lengths, his blonde mane and patch of pink on his nose. It was lovely piecing all the pieces together seeing the completed piece. The thing that brings me the most joy is seeing the joy the personalised ponies give to my clients🥰.

Our second personalised pony is also very special this is Freddie for my client. Sadly Freddie had crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge in July 🪽my lovely client wanted a personalised pony that incorporated his real hair.

Normally I only incorporate the hair in the head as not always strong enough to incorporate in the piece it’s self. However Freddie’s hair was most definitely strong enough to incorporate pieces in the crocheted mane and a lovely plait to add to the tail.

Again Freddie’s owner loved the finished piece which actually made her quite emotional. To say I’m proud that I was able to provide her with exactly what she wanted with her being so happy with the finished piece makes me burst with joy ❤️.

Making people smile creating such a special piece that makes my clients burst with joy is exactly why I do this🥰.

Hi guys hope all is well it’s humpday today so we are half way there to the weekend ☺️.

Here’s one of my lovely family members enjoying his giant chunky giraffe 🦒 I made him ☺️. As you can see the chunky giant giraffes is now a well loved member of the family and takes his proud space on Archie’s bed at bed time 😴.

This Giant Giraffe 🦒 is perfect for sensory stimulation as the wool used to make him are different textures and dexterity. This would make him great cuddle buddy for our children that are stimulated by sensory touch.

I’m so glad to see how happy Archie is with his Giant giraffe and that he takes proud place on his bed ☺️. Makes everything worth it too see the smile happiness and joy theses creations bring🥰.
