Did you know that every Thursday David goes Plogging around the Rec in Roath? 🤔

Plogging is the combination of jogging and litter picking - originating from Sweden. David likes to do his bit for the environment as a reminder that small actions can have a big impact, and that we all have a role to play in caring for our planet. He’s always grateful for people joining him on his weekly clean-up mission.

Gareth is in Turkey this month helping the Ukrainian track and field team to prepare for the European championships 2024. He’s assisting the coaches with supporting, training and advising the Ukrainian Sprinters. Meet Elis, our new osteopath! 👋

Elis has a Master's degree in Osteopathy from Swansea University. Osteopaths specialise in the musculoskeletal system and their high level of training allows them to screen for numerous disorders and medical conditions. An osteopath's primary objective is to relieve pain by eliminating imbalances between muscles, ligaments, fascia and joints using a variety of techniques including:

⭐ Mobilisation
⭐ Massage
⭐ HVLAT (manipulation/adjustment)
⭐ Stretching
⭐ Myofascial techniques
⭐ Muscle energy techniques
⭐ Exercises
