Best festival of the year for me! What a privilege it is to film at Bloodstock?!
The ATC crew are brilliant to work with! Never afraid to get stuck in, work brilliantly as a team and never fail to deliver for the fans of Bloodstock!
Personal favourites for me this year we're Clutch, Opeth and Forbidden.
Already looking forward to next year!

Great weeks worth of work with with a brilliant team working in quite the mix of music! Always great to be on a track in the pit. A really fun gig and hopefully we'll do it again next year!

Worked with an amazing team for the Romesh Ranganathan tour! The lovely guy also got us some delicious cakes at the O2, a sure fire way to win me over 😁
Coupled with a day off in Cardiff! Lovely!
A very funny show, I hope you got to see it and if not, then you might be able to catch it on Sky... Maybe. Who knows? 🤷

Got sent onto the tail end of The Kid Laroi's The First Time tour. Great team and had a blast!

The UK leg of the Rick Astley Tour was a lot of fun!
The man himself is a very humble, friendly and decent guy.
Our team was brilliant and I was sad to see it come to an end but that's the way with all good things.
Personal highlights for me were the Dublin audience, they know how to have a good time! Hearing Rick do a death growl during soundcheck and convincing Rick that they should play a track from their alter ego band Kunsthaus for the last UK date of the tour, Liverpool. By the way, the track in question was inspired by Rammstein!

More UK tour work over the last few months.
Comedy with Fluffy, music with A.R.Rahman and some amazing piano work with Ludovico Einaudi

Absolutely incredible to have the opportunity to work this year's festival. I was FOH and pit camera on main stage the whole weekend with an excellent team, a lot of laughs along the way and plenty of kick arse music!
Ugly kid Joe came over to give me a fist bump mid song and Dave Mustane personally handed me a pick at the end of Megadeths set! Another career highlight to add to the ever growing list!

Some band highlights for me were...

I've lost count of how many times I've filmed over the last 5 years. Dominated that stage and the audience loved the show.
Venom is a personal favourite track of mine.
A pleasure working with for for their 10th anniversary! And hats off to going hand held in the pit for a last minute change of plan. You smashed it buddy!

Had a blast working with filming last night. Brilliant team, wonderful gig and a fantastic audience! Highlight was being guided to centre stage by the legend himself to film some adoring fans along the front row.
Got a lot of praise from the director for our team efforts on this one. Another career highlight to add to the list that's got me dancing on the ceiling.... Sorry, couldn't resist!

Right on to the next job with just enough time at home for a shower and to swap out some clothes in my suitcase.

The last show went down amazing well with the audience! A full standing ovation which is such a great way to end the last show! I've just landed back home and already making my way over to my next job in Telford.
Our local crew in Japan worked so hard! I made some wonderful friends and fantastic memories! Next stop for this tour is Munich so I'm looking forward to working with the team again out in Germany next month!

Osaka so far. Officially day two in Osaka. The festival hall theatre was built in 1958 and refurbished ten years ago, it's got a hell on an entrance! I really enjoy the view of the river and skyscrapers from the hotel window.
I've added the dumpling machine to the list of odd vending machines I've spotted, along with macaroons, ice cream and cake in a can.
There's a pizza vending machine here in Osaka but sadly I don't think the working hours will allow for a visit. Another build day today, show time soon!

Ready to start work as video no.1 for the international Jean Paul Gaultier Fashion Freak Show! It's nice to be back out on tour with this wonderful show again. Tokyo for the next few weeks, then onto Osaka. Let the fun begin!

Thank you ITV Meridian and ITV Cymru Wales, it's been a blast! Time for me to stretch my legs and head back out to freelance. Got a few exciting things lined up for the Summer! I'll keep you posted as they develop. 😎

Some news to share! I've decided to leave ITV go back to full-time freelance work. My time with ITV has been wonderful and I've met some lovely people both at Meridian and Wales. There have been some brilliant opportunities, editing programmes, OB's and working alongside ITN, but, the time has come for me to get back out on the road!
My last day with ITV is the 27th of Jan. Most of my summer is already booked with some exciting destinations, Japan, Germany etc! I still have availability for the Spring so feel free to get in touch for bookings.

Working a freelance gig today at Twickenham stadium for the Rugby. Camera op and I'm in charge of the rotating stage... That's a new one!

Very pleased to announce that I've been accepted for a 12 month secondment to Cardiff! It's an amazing opportunity and I can't wait to meet the team and get started. No fixed moving date yet but looks like it'll be the new year due to still training staff here in Kent. It'll be sad to leave but I'm looking forward to some new technical challenges. Take care ITV Meridian, I'll see you in a years time!

For two years now I've been growing this mop on my head and it's finally time to cut it off and donate it to the Little Princess Trust . I'm also raising money in aid of Demelza Hospice Care for Children and every donation will help.

Saturday the 13th of November is the big day for the chop! This will likely be the last time I donate my hair to the Little Princess Trust as I'm getting too grey for it now.
The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.

It was a pleasure to be put forward for this job with ITN after all of my hard work at ITV. A week in Brighton covering a conference which meant ingesting and distributing material for all the major broadcasters. A very fast paced environment which I thrived in. A great team who really know their stuff and have a lot of fun while they work. Shame I couldn't join them in Manchester for the next one but I'm needed back in the office. Maybe next year.
