Seated side raises, a popular shoulder exercise, offer several benefits:

Why hybrid training ❓️
As you can see I've had some amazing results over the last 12 weeks.
I've also ran Barry & Cardiff 10km & Cardiff half marathon which I PBed on each and every one I did and the Cardiff half was the biggest as I beat my time by 13mins from last year.
These are the things I've done to get these great results.
TRACK FOOD & PROTEIN
I track my food/calories so I know I'm getting enough and I live off a 80/20 to so I get the foods I need and then still enjoy a beer & pizza etc when I want to. Also track my protein and I try and hit anything above 170g per day and that will include one or 2 plant based shakes.
WEIGHT TRAINING 💪
I follow a 5 day training split so i'm hitting each body part twice a week aswell as doing metcons to change it up every know and again. For me this has been a big insight of how to can do 2 different types of training and still get the results.
RUNNING 🏃♂️
So I've been running this year twice a week upto 12 weeks ago and up till then things wasn't really going to plan but as soon as I started the hybrid training my running got better and my times got faster. Still do some way to go but I'm on the right track to achieve my goals in running and I'm enjoying it to.
SUPPLEMENTS 🍇🍅🍏
i've been using plant based supplements to help and aid recovery and muscle growth on top of my food intake of around 2800 calories a day.
I us our premium capsules which have 30 types of fruit/veg/berries which has helped not only my training but my health aswell. I used a complete shake for breakfast as I'm up early and don't really want to eat so having this gives me everything I need to start the day. For y joints I'm using plant based omega 3,5,6,7,9 and this has been the biggest game changer as I don't have any joint problems at all. Then last of all I use preform as a post workout shake that give me 25g of protein and floods the body with extra vitamin B,C,D.
MINDSET TRAINING 🧠
I have cold showers and the benefits are endless so have a good look if your not up for cold baths. I do meditation and I do another of mobility work along side listening to different audio books.

Well a did my 5th & final race of the year
This time last year I was hating running and done my 2nd half marathon with hardly any training.
This year I committed to running twice a week and then the last 12 weeks I've been following a plan and I run around 4 or 5 times a week along side weight training.
Also from last year I did both cardiff half's with just over 2 hours and 1hr 56mins.
This year I hit under 1hr 50 I'm so happy and proud and goes to show being consistent is the way forward.

My tips on why doing your steps are important
My tops tips if your new to the gym 🏋️♂️
1️⃣ Get an gym induction booked in so you can talk to a trainer and get shown the basics around the gym.
2️⃣ Have a plan in place, know what you want to achieve health and fitness wise.
3️⃣ Sign up to classes, this will health you feel more comfortable and you can learn more on how to do exercises and make friends.
4️⃣ Bring a bottle if water with you so you stay hydrated.
5️⃣ Book yourself in with a personal trainer, this can help as they can help amd support you to achieve your goals with workout plans and nutrition advice plus you have someone to be accountable to.

Is cardio good for weightloss?
It is 6.49am and its leg day, did I want to do it at this time of the day?....... HELL NO but if I want to get the results I want I have to gwt on with it and do it when I can.
Life is busy so training fits in where and when it can
I used to train 8/9pm but now I train early around 8.30am.
Mine is to show my boy what a healthy but balanced life looks like.
To be as healthy as I can so I can run around with my kids.
To look in the mirror and like what I see
To keep my anxiety on an all time low
