What group do you belong to?
4 years ago today, this beautiful girl moved into our household. It’s also happens to be my birthday – she was the best present I could have wished for. 🎁
Gracie, who had been neglected and then abandoned by her previous owners, happened to be rescued at the exact time that we had made a decision to get a dog.
After visiting her at the kennels a few days beforehand, expecting a nervous and shy dog, she ran straight to us, without hesitation. The decision was made. She was meant for us. ❤️
Her arrival marked a massive change for me – it was the start of me enjoying my birthday after years of hating it. She has been a crucial part of my healing over the last 4 years too. 🥰
What I also recently discovered too, is that your birthday is one of the most powerful days for you to manifest.
It makes sense when you think about it, as we’re always told to make a wish when blowing out birthday candles. 🎂
So, I shall be using the power of manifestation to my full advantage today and setting my intentions for the year ahead, allowing the universe to deliver these or something better over the next 12 months. 🌟
Have you a memory that marks a turning point in your life?
There are various ways you can get into the sea from this point...
🌊 You could jump off the edge and get straight in.
🌊 You could use the ladder to lower yourself into the water, letting go at the bottom.
🌊 You could walk back along the pier, onto the beach and gradually step into the water and swim up to the same point.
🌊 You could ask someone for help to get in, to make it feel easier and less daunting.
Whatever approach you take, the result is the same but the speed of the journey and experience will be different.
This applies to anything you would like to achieve in life.
Sometimes, jumping in at the deep end is exactly what is needed – a leap of faith, seizing an opportunity and having little or no time to think about it.
There are also times when that approach isn’t right for you.
A little bit of anxiety is normal for something new – it identifies where there’s potential for growth.
Too much anxiety and fear on the other hand, can leave you feeling so overwhelmed that you can’t see any alternative but give up altogether. You remain stuck.
So, when you’re working towards something you really want, take a step back and consider all approaches to get there.
Just because it doesn’t seem possible right now doesn’t mean it’s impossible for you in the future.
There is no set timeline, other than the one you place on yourself,
So, take the pressure off yourself and enjoy the view. Stroll along the path and take it all in along the way. Allow yourself as much time as you need to build the courage to take that next step and trust that actually it’s all going to be ok.
Today brings the new moon is Scorpio ♏️🌑

You can change your mind. 🤔
You will discover what worked once before is no longer serving you. ✋🏻
What feels easy in one area of your life might feel more challenging in another and then that changes over time.
Take what resonates with you and inspires you through life and use your own creative spark to do it your way. 💫
Trust that everything is happening exactly as it’s supposed to.
You might take a few wrong turns and some more scenic routes than others, but that’s how you learn in your own way and your own time.
Remember to have some fun too and cherish moments of peace, happiness, joy and laughter no matter how brief, along the way. 💙🦋

Here's my take on Dr Tara Swart's 6 Steps to forming New Habits 👇🏻
1. Desire - Know what you want and why you want it. This will be your motivation to keep going.
2. Small Steps - Start small and implement one new habit at a time. It will feel more manageable to stick to. You can add more over time.
3. Repetition - Make it part of your daily or weekly routine so it's easier to repeat regularly.
4. Consistency - creates lasting change. Choose a day and time which makes it easier for you and if need be, schedule it in your calendar to remind you to do it.
5. Understand your Triggers - when do you feel motivated to stick to it versus when you feel like giving up or self sabotaging?
6. Patience - change takes time. Forming new habits takes time and that will depend on your circumstances and motivation to stick it out.

Tuesday’s reminder 💗💫🥰
Whether you have clarity on what you want or not, one thing is for sure, you know how you want to feel.
Leaning in to how you want to feel, helps release any expectations, outcomes or knowing the how of your aspirations.
It creates space for inspiration, people, opportunities and experiences to come in that are in alignment with that feeling.
It further adds momentum to that feeling, unravelling each next step at precisely the right time.
Just a few minutes spent each day focusing on how you want to feel is a few minutes less spent feeling otherwise.
The more you do it, the more you’ll be able to step into that feeling until you are in it more often than you’re not.
If you struggle to just feel it, do something that evokes the feeling… listening to music, spending time with a loved one or a pet, a walk in the woods or by the sea, enjoying a fresh cup of coffee or the scent of some essential oils.
It’s usually the simple things that create feelings of joy / peace / contentment etc.
Do one of those things every single day until just thinking about them makes you feel good.
Schedule ‘feel good time’ in your diary if you have to.
Make it a non negotiable.
Be consistent and persevere.
Your future self will thank you for it. 💙🦋

It’s a feeling, an inner knowing that can’t be explained easily with words or logic.
Listen. Feel. Notice.

I’ve been physically tired but buzzing at the same time.
Does the thought of something get you excited?
Then follow that feeling!
Where might it take you? 💫
It’s normal to feel a little anxious about change or doing something new.
It identifies potential for growth, especially where there’s excitement too.
If things feel heavy for you at the moment, where are you out of alignment?
Where are you perhaps still closed off to receiving the nudges from the universe, your higher self, source, god or whatever you prefer to call it?
Ask your angels, guides, spirit team, the universe to guide you and you will receive the answers.
I can be a bit oblivious to cryptic messages, so I ask them to make it so obvious that I won’t miss it! 🙈
Be open to receiving, trust it and take inspired action on those answers.
It might come in the form of an idea, a gut feel, a social media post, a TV ad, overhearing part of a conversation, an image, an animal or a symbol that means something to you.
Be patient. It takes as long as it takes.
Trust me, forcing it doesn’t work! 🤣
If you are willing to take responsibility to move forward, you will be supported.
The way forward will present itself and it will feel easier, lighter and ultimately more enjoyable.
Have faith, persevere with those baby steps, keep the momentum going and you will begin to blossom.
Help and support each other where you can.

When we worry, it can spark a train of thought… overthinking, catastrophizing and going over every single possibility, consuming the majority of our thoughts, time and energy.
It’s draining and unhelpful. 😩
If you notice this is a pattern for you, it can be helpful to rationalise your thoughts and reduce worry by considering the things that are more likely happen and plan for those scenarios.
You may even remember a previous period of worry that you got through and that is enough reassurance that you can do it again… because you will get through it.
You are much stronger than you realise and life will never present you with a challenge that you can’t handle.
Remember that everything always works out in the end even if that takes some adjusting in the meantime or asking for help and support along the way. A solution is always available.
Have faith that everything will be ok. 💙🦋
